How To Claim 2000 Bonus Microsoft Rewards Points On Xbox In September

It's that time again! We're big fans of the Microsoft Rewards program here at Pure Xbox, which allows you to complete tasks in order to earn redeemable points which can be spent on gift cards, donations and much more.

September 2021's "Monthly Bonus Round" challenge has just begun, and by satisfying a few easy requirements by September 15th, you can top up your account by another 2000 - 2050 points (around £2 / $2).

You'll find this punch card on the Microsoft Rewards app for console, and here's what you'll need to do:

  • Complete a Bing search on five separate days
  • Complete 3 "daily sets"
  • Earn 3 achievements in Xbox One / Series X / Series S games
  • Complete a "weekly set" on the Microsoft Rewards Xbox app
  • Complete a quiz for up to 50 extra points

There are loads of other ways to earn points right now as well (aside from the usual methods), with special 250-point punch cards available for Psychonauts 2, Forza and Madden NFL 22, a 100-point search-based punch card called "Get Some Fresh Air" on the browser version of Microsoft Rewards, and potentially thousands of extra points for buying new and upcoming titles such as NBA 2K22 and games in the Summer Spotlight promotion.

That's not to mention the new 500-point punch card for completing one achievement across a selection of eligible games ("Microsoft Rewards Top 10: ID@Xbox"), which you'll find a guide for elsewhere on Pure Xbox.

If you're new to the Microsoft Rewards program, this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of obtaining points - you can also earn hundreds per-day by completing Bing searches on PC and mobile, earning Achievements in Xbox games, finding Weekly Treasures, pre-ordering specific games and much more.
