It's that time again! We're big fans of the Microsoft Rewards program here at Pure Xbox, which allows you to complete tasks in order to earn redeemable points which can be spent on gift cards, donations and much more.
September 2021's "Monthly Bonus Round" challenge has just begun, and by satisfying a few easy requirements by September 15th, you can top up your account by another 2000 - 2050 points (around £2 / $2).
You'll find this punch card on the Microsoft Rewards app for console, and here's what you'll need to do:
- Complete a Bing search on five separate days
- Complete 3 "daily sets"
- Earn 3 achievements in Xbox One / Series X / Series S games
- Complete a "weekly set" on the Microsoft Rewards Xbox app
- Complete a quiz for up to 50 extra points
There are loads of other ways to earn points right now as well (aside from the usual methods), with special 250-point punch cards available for Psychonauts 2, Forza and Madden NFL 22, a 100-point search-based punch card called "Get Some Fresh Air" on the browser version of Microsoft Rewards, and potentially thousands of extra points for buying new and upcoming titles such as NBA 2K22 and games in the Summer Spotlight promotion.
That's not to mention the new 500-point punch card for completing one achievement across a selection of eligible games ("Microsoft Rewards Top 10: ID@Xbox"), which you'll find a guide for elsewhere on Pure Xbox.
If you're new to the Microsoft Rewards program, this is just the tip of the iceberg in terms of obtaining points - you can also earn hundreds per-day by completing Bing searches on PC and mobile, earning Achievements in Xbox games, finding Weekly Treasures, pre-ordering specific games and much more. Check out our guide!

You forgot step 1... move to the UK or wherever else the punchcard is available. Still annoyed these aren't available in Canada for whatever reason.
@Krzzystuff That sucks, shame it isn't global.
If it helps there's relatively a lot of hoop jumping here for what is less than £2. Yes it's a nice small bonus but not the end of the world.
@Originut It's very difficult because Microsoft doesn't make it easy for us to identify which MS Rewards punch cards / promotions are available in which regions. I've yet to find a simple solution.
For example, the current 'Game Pass Ultimate For Life' sweepstakes says it's only available in the UK if you're UK-based, but it's actually also available in the US as part of a separate sweepstakes (which you can't access from the UK).

But yeah, I totally understand the frustration.
@Originut No problem, if I can find a better way around it, I certainly will start including that information where possible.
I check the rewards app every day when I start the XSX up, it's not hard.
For the 500 rewards pts for ID@Xbox, just start up either Art of Rally (start free roam automatically and then just drive through the car wash straight ahead at the beginning) or Omno (at the beginning just walk in the water for 20 seconds). Two very quick achievements plus plenty more in those games. Easy and simple.
@FraserG Perhaps a simple catch all phrase - "Confirmed for UK, may not be available in all regions" until a better solution is found?
