Update (Tue 27th Jul, 2021 12:30 BST): Happy Microsoft Flight Simulator day! The game will be live on Xbox Series X and Series S (with Game Pass) in just a few short hours, and all the times you need are above and below.
Original story (Sat 24th Jul, 2021 10:00 BST): We're sure you're well aware by this point that Microsoft Flight Simulator is taking off for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on Tuesday, July 27, but now Asobo Studio has also confirmed exactly what time it'll be joining Xbox Game Pass.
You can see the full list of all the times from across the world below, which ranges from early morning in some countries to late afternoon and evening in others. To put it simply, it's not a generic midnight release.
The first previews for Microsoft Flight Simulator on Series X and Series S dropped yesterday, and the verdict seems to be that it runs very impressively on both consoles, maintaining a solid frame rate even on the budget Series S.
Don't forget that you can now pre-download all 97GB of the game ahead of Tuesday by going to the Xbox Game Pass app and searching for Flight Sim, ensuring that you're all ready to go when the release time rolls around.
Got any special plans for Flight Sim on Tuesday? Let us know down in the comments below!

Cant wait but seriously 4pm.
Dozens of people privileged with new Xbox's will enjoy this immensely. Meanwhile millions with only XB1's will be sad at the broken promises.
@Krysus It's not difficult to get an Xbox Series S, they've been in stock everywhere since about February with no stock shortages. Although I get why people want to wait for a Series X.
They probably had good intentions with saying it would come to XBO, but it was never going to happen, anyone who played it on PC would have realized that the XBO just isn't powerful enough in the CPU department to get this running.
So people with a physical release will get to play this first? Cheers Xbox...
What happened to midnight releases?
4pm seriously? That could not be a worse time for me as the wife finishes work by then, Iāll have to do the kids tea, the tv will be getting used by them and to top it all off Iām working a night shift. Looks like Iāll be waiting till Wednesday morning to take to the skies.
@Krysus broken promises? Was this promised a release on last gen hardware?
Gamepass app you say?? Nomatter what game i try to install remotely from the app, it installs jedi fallen order!!!! Seriouslyā¦. Every single time jedi fallen order!
Anyone else had this issue & solved it?
@Ready_Player_One
Yes it was. The Xbox One X was in fact supposed to be the ideal way to play it prior to the next Gen announcements.
@hbkay hahahahah what for real? What happens if you try and install fallen order off of it? Maybe try relinking your xbox to the app?
@Cherip-the-Ripper yeah seriously!! Dead spaceā¦ā¦ā¦.. fallen order. Pyschonautsā¦ā¦ā¦. Fallen orderš¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£ crazy
@hbkay So, I hear you REALLY like Jedi Fallen Order.
@hbkay that's a bug with the app, basically if you install a game with the app then delete it on your console and then install again using the app it will download the last game you installed again. Just keep Fallen Order, don't delete it.

@blinx01 Honestly with shipping delays, you'll get it at 4:00pm at best, and the next day at worse.
