As previously suggested last week, a new Jurassic Park has officially been unveiled. Frontier Developments has revealed Jurassic World Evolution 2 for Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S. Oh, and it's arriving sometime later this year!
The park building simulator returns with a new narrative set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which if you haven't seen, ended on a particular game changing moment. Leading on from that, players can create an even more elaborate park, with new dinosaurs, features, and more. The trailer even ends with a tease of new underwater beasties coming to the next entry.
Building upon the groundbreaking and immersive 2018 management simulation, Jurassic World Evolution 2 introduces a compelling, new narrative campaign set after the events of Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, incredible new features, and awe-inspiring new dinosaurs brought to life with captivating realism. Together with expanded construction and more customisation options, the result is an even bigger, better and authentic Jurassic World game.
There's no word on when we can expect to see Jurassic World Evolution 2, but we imagine more will be announced during the summer. Unlike the first game, it seems this may be a simultaneous release with the PC version, which is also fantastic news.

I hope the "new features" include a third person mode. It would be neat to build your park, then plop yourself in as a playable character when things go wrong and see how long you can survive. Gamers who love park builders love just causing disasters; it would be a genuinely novel spin on the genre to put players in the shoes of park goers having to survive that kind of crap, and super fitting for the Jurassic Park/World brand...
Can't wait. I dumped so many hours into the first as a decent spiritual successor to Jurassic Park Operation Genesis.
I'm sure I'll loose a disgusting number of hours in this one too.
i hope this will be a series x version
