Xbox Has Five New AAA Games To Announce At E3

If you thought Xbox was already working on a ton of promising games from their first-party studios, then buckle in, as word on the street is another five are set to be unveiled at E3.

As mentioned by well known insider Klobrille on the Xbox Era forums, he suggested we may be seeing five brand-new games from across Xbox Game Studios. All are said to be AAA in budget, joining previously announced games from last year such as Fable and Avowed.

Klobrille also believes we'll see a lot more gameplay this year compared to last year. A point of negative feedback from Xbox's showcase last Summer was centred around the over saturation of CGI trailers instead of actual gameplay. With that being said, it seems a fair expectation to see more gameplay at the event this year.

"Last year at the Xbox Games Showcase, Xbox revealed 4 new, AAA games coming from their own studios; Forza Motorsport, State of Decay 3, Avowed and of course, Fable.

For this year including XGSP and Bethesda, so far, I do think I already know about 5 completely new, AAA titles being announced this Summer. Some more expected than others.

Plans are still fluctuating though. At the end of the day, I think it is a fair expectation that gameplay trailers and/or demos should have a bigger presence at least for the already announced things coming this and next year."

In the past, Klobrille has previously teased rumours that have turned out to be correct. In recent memory, he was amongst the various insiders hinting towards the gargantuan amount of FPS Boost titles that were revealed shortly afterwards. However, as they've mentioned, plans are "still fluctuating", and we're still a few weeks away from E3. Things could change, but we can't help but be excited by the prospect of even more first-party unveilings.
