If you've finished Resident Evil Village and you're looking for more zombie filled goodness, then Dead by Daylight will play host to a new crossover pack on June 15.

To celebrate the Resident Evil franchise's anniversary, as well as five years of Dead by Daylight, the unique crossover will bring characters, maps, and an iconic villain into the popular asymmetrical horror game. Dead by Daylight: Resident Evil Chapter will set you back $11.99/£9.99.

Included are two new heroes, Leon S. Kennedy and Jill Valentine, each of which come with their own unique perks, such as Leon's use of flashbangs. Players can take these into the new map, Racoon City Police Station - most famously seen in Resident Evil 2. But perhaps the most exciting inclusion is fan favourite antagonist, Nemesis, who for the first time in Dead by Daylight's history will be joined by AI controlled zombies to help track down other players.

For the first time in Dead by Daylight‘s history, the Resident Evil Chapter will feature an AI-assisted Killer. On top of avoiding deadly attacks by Nemesis, Survivors will also need to be careful of lurking zombies waiting to take a bite out of them. These AI-controlled monsters will bring a new dynamic to the already tense hide-and-seek gameplay and will require Survivors to adapt and develop new strategies.

It's sounding to be a pretty exciting wealth of new content. More than just a cosmetic upgrade, players will have a wide range of abilities to use as Nemesis, such as his iconic tentacle arms. If you've been holding off trying Dead by Daylight, now may be the time to see what the fuss is all about.
