New Dynamic Background Coming To Xbox Series X S

Dynamic backgrounds are one of the features that differentiate the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S from the Xbox One. They're something PlayStation has had for a while, and finally made their way to us this generation. The initial selection comes with a fair few, but a look at a new upcoming theme shows us what's coming next.

The new dynamic theme known as 'Motes' is currently only available for Xbox Insider members, and it's got us pretty jealous. Shared by Xbox engineering lead, Eden Marie, it's a lovely looking backdrop which can be tailored to the profile colour of your choosing. We can't wait to get our hands on it.

It's great to see more and more of these roll out, as they really make the Xbox Series X|S UI shine with their stylish animations. As it stands, they're exclusive to the next-gen systems, so if you want to personalise your dashboard, you'll need a next-gen console to do so.
