Last month, 343 teased some content for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It went on to reveal a future update for the collection would add a custom game browser and much more.
In terms of Halo 3, it announced new map content. With the insider flight of the latest build now underway, many players have been uploading footage of the two new (but old) locations coming to the third entry (Waterfall and Edge). Both these maps are based on the maps featured in Halo Online - the cancelled free-to-play game, which had a closed beta test in Russia in 2015.
Waterfall is set within the harsh environment of the Zezar system - with the battle playing out on a UNSC facility. Meanwhile, the Edge map is located in a Forerunner databank on Partition. YouTuber and Twitter user 'bbkdragoon' provides a quick look at both maps in the clip below:
You can see more of both of these maps by searching for them on YouTube. Here's a more in-depth look. So, what do you think? Are you excited to experience some more maps in the MCC version of Halo 3? Tell us down below.

343 have a great eye for visual design. Some of it has been a bit over-the-top in the past, but these maps look beautiful. I just hope they play well: that's the main thing.
All maps are new to me still so what's a few more. Gotta say the multilayer is pretty fantastic for Halo.
