Deals: 500+ Games Included In This Week's Massive Xbox Sale (Feb 9-16)

I’m tempted by Yakuza Like a Dragon, but I know it’ll probably end up on GamePass like all the other Yakuza games. What to do...🤔

I almost pulled the trigger on $100 worth of games. Almost. Then I realised I'd play them next year, or even later. I'm cured!! Hallelujah! 😂
Edit: bought Modern Warfare. I'm still a sinner...

I'm hoping by summer it'll be on Game Pass.
Still too expensive for me when the disc version can be had for much less.

I bought Witcher 3. Don't want to be caught with my pants down when it leaves game pass.

@Nightcrawler71 if you going to play it as soon as you get it, why not?

It its just going to the backlog, I'm sure next year you will see it even cheaper.

Personally, I preorderd and played it and even if it went into GP tomorrow I would not regret it. Loved every second. Plus, unless MS buys Sega, these games won't be in GP forever. Owning them has its perks.

Kingdom Hearts is on Sale and they went into Gamepass around this time last year. I can’t say they’ll go out of GP, but if you like these titles good time to buy

@Nightcrawler71 I'm not 100% sure it'll come to gamepass any time soon, considering this is Sega we're talking about I wouldn't be surprised if they only put 0-6 on Gamepass to build a fan base to then sell Like A Dragon, Judgement, and the eventual 3 remakes.

I already own most of these games..

@gollumb82 I'm in the same place. I have way too many games to play so most things I buy go straight to the backlog. But it doesn't feel like a cure. I want that sweet serotonin from buying new games.

Pulled the trigger on Yakuza Like a Dragon after rage-deleting Watchdogs Legion after losing 4 hours of gameplay last night to the save glitch that Ubisoft say has been patched.

@NotoriousWhiz Same. Especially since it's only the regular edition which is in the gamepass.
Right now, the GOTY edition is less than 10 bucks. I'm all in !

@Nightcrawler71 I've always felt smug when a game that I've held off from buying turns up on Game Pass. At the same time it hasn't bothered me in the slightest when a game that I bought ends up on Game Pass. Sometimes I feel genuinely happy knowing more people will play it. I'm weird like that.

I'm the same way. I wanted to buy The Falconeer but pushed it down on my wishlist so imagine my joy when I saw it enter Game Pass I find most games are a one and done affair for me and Game Pass is ideal for this situation.

I get you, but I keep telling myself that my Game Pass play later list is not really backlog. I didn't technically buy these games, right? 😁

I looked through all of them on the dashboard and ended buying Virtua Fighter 2 at its full price of £3.49.
