Bungie has confirmed today as part of the Global Xbox Series X|S Celebration livestream that Destiny 2 will be getting a 120 frames per-second mode in Crucible for Xbox Series X on December 8th.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light officially launched as part of Xbox Game Pass for Xbox One earlier today, but the Xbox Series X|S optimised version will feature 4K, 60FPS as standard (1080, 60FPS on Xbox Series S), faster load times, a field of view slider on both systems and cross-generational play - along with Xbox Smart Delivery support.

I am freaking out over this lol. D2 is my favorite, most played game ever, and I was stoked about 4k 60fps support. But hearing 120fps in Crucible, even though I'm just a casual PvP player, gets me hyped. I definitely have to get that LG CX TV now for 4k@120hz!
I stopped playing d2 because of the long waiting times but now I'll suit up. See you there guys
@Cisco Yeah, I just got my SX so can't wait to see how fast everything loads in D2! I'm probably not gonna play much of it until the big next gen upgrade releases next month. The load times really were a nightmare with D2, I'm sure it's like night and day better now.
