Forza Horizon 6 is officially available worldwide, including a day one Xbox Game Pass release! Yep, the Standard Edition of Playground's new racer is out now for all after a good few days of paid early access, and Game Pass Ultimate players can jump in and see what Horizon Japan has to offer.

As you're all probably well aware of what Forza Horizon 6 is and how you'd describe it, we're going to spend a bit of time here detailing what's coming to the game's first post-launch season - or 'Series 1' as Playground calls it.

Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 (Welcome To Japan)

Forza Horizon 6 Is Available Today With Xbox Game Pass, And Here's What's Coming In Season1

Just like the past couple of Forza Horizon games, FH6 will host month-long seasons centring around the 'Festival Playlist', with plenty of rewards packed into it for completing certain objectives. Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 goes ahead May 21 - June 18, and two reward cars will be available each week of the season alongside two bonus cars detailed by Playground Games.

Here are all of the reward cars coming in Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 (Welcome to Japan):

  • 2008 Mazda Furai
  • 2010 Nissan 370Z
  • 1999 Toyota Altezza RS200 Z EDITION
  • 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX MR
  • 1997 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec
  • 1991 Honda CR-X SiR
  • 2019 Subaru STI S209
  • 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser Arctic Trucks AT37
  • 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V
  • 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5

On top of the monthly rewards for taking part in each individual Series in FH6, the team is also introducing a new feature this year that rewards players for continuously taking part in the whole Festival Playlist system. Here's how Playground describes this extra feature:

"Forza Horizon 6 also introduces unique secondary rewards to the Festival Playlist. Series History Rewards includes exclusive cars that are unlocked based on the lifetime Playlist Points that you have obtained from playing the game."

On top of all this free content coming to Forza Horizon 6 in the first month of release, the team has also detailed a little bit of its premium content offerings too. We already have the 'Time Attack Car Pack' which is available as a standalone purchase now (or as part of the Premium Upgrade/Edition), and the paid 'Car Pass' will also deliver weekly cars to your in-game garage for the next 30 weeks (also available with the Premium Upgrade/Edition).

Here are the four cars coming to Car Pass players in the first month:

  • 1990 Nissan #12 Skyline GT-R (BNR32 Gr. A) JTC
  • 2024 Koenigsegg Gemera
  • 1972 Datsun #269 Attacking the Clock Racing 240Z ‘All Carbon Hill Climb Beast’
  • 2008 Honda Civic Type R (FD2)

That's a quick look at Playground's early post-launch plans with Forza Horizon 6, then - and we hope you enjoy this and all of the base game content over the next few weeks!
