Activision has shared a new look at the upcoming Crash Bandicoot 4 as part of today's PlayStation State of Play stream, revealing that one of its new playable characters will be fan favourite, Dingodile.

After the events of Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, the half dingo, half crocodile has apparently decided to retire his old ways of hunting down bandicoots in favour of opening a diner, but finds himself sucked into a dimension and in search of what went wrong - this time with a vacuum gun rather than his classic flamethrower.

You’ll be able to play full levels and alternate timelines as Dingodile, as well as the previously announced Neo Cortex.

Additionally, it was revealed that Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time will include a unique take on Mirror Mode called N. Verted, featuring new art styles, game feels and challenges, "allowing for the true completionists at heart to further challenge themselves for even more rewards."

Crash Bandicoot 4 is coming to Xbox One on October 2, 2020, and is available now for pre-order on the Microsoft Store for for £59.99/$59.99, which includes the Totally Tubular Skins for Crash and Coco at launch.
