Some new gameplay footage of Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time has hit YouTube today following a recent hands-on event, giving us our first look at playable Dr. Neo Cortex and more.
You can specifically check out that footage in the video above, with the Cortex parts appearing to replace enemies with more complex platforming elements instead, before eventually transitioning back to Crash.
There's also some new gameplay of other levels from Crash 4 floating around, including Dino Dash which you can see below, which is reminiscent of the old boulder chasing levels from the original games.
Crash Bandicoot 4 is coming to Xbox One on October 2, 2020, and is available now for pre-order on the Microsoft Store for for £59.99/$59.99, which includes the Totally Tubular Skins for Crash and Coco at launch.

I am doing the dirty and getting this on PS4 purely because I've played them all on Playstation, but this looks bloody awesome.
I just hope they nail the physics here, something about N-Sane Trilogy's physics didn't sit right with me, felt like Crash could slip off edges far too easily, couldn't make jumps that were well-timed.
Crash games are hard at the best of times but not controller-smash hard.
