We're all eagerly anticipating next week's big Xbox Series X event as part of Inside Xbox, but first-party titles from Xbox Game Studios won't be featured. GM of Xbox Game Marketing Aaron Greenberg has elaborated on this, confirming that more Xbox Series X reveal plans up to launch will be detailed during next week's event.
Greenberg spoke about this in response to Xbox fans on Twitter, noting that the upcoming show is "timed as more of a typical pre-E3 beat," and that more plans are in the works for the summer:
If rumours are to be believed, there's a chance we could be getting another E3-style event in June or July. Either way, Greenberg has encouraged fans to be understanding, noting that the timing of typical events could be different than usual due to the unique challenges teams are currently facing:
"Yeah just ask everyone to be kind & understand that teams are dealing with a lot right now in how they work as well personal/family lives. Phil has made the health & safety of everyone the priority, so timing of typical events might be a bit different. But the fire is coming!"
When do you think we'll get our first look at some new Xbox Series X first-party titles? Share your predictions in the comments.

I can't believe how open they are about communicating stuff. Compared with both Sony and Nintendo that's incredible refreshing and creates a lot of goodwill for my record.
Awsome, Cant wait for them to tell us more details.. Hopefully something from first party comes soon
@ShaiHulud
I completely agree. Itβs extremely refreshing. The other two act like we are lucky to be getting any news from them when they deem to grace us with it.
@ShaiHulud Completely agree. Not only are they being open, but I like what they are saying. I wasn't going to get a Series X out the gate, but so long as the price is not sky high I'd sign right up.
"But the fire is coming!"
The only sort of fire you run towards to. ππ₯π
@KelticDevil I don't know about Nintendo's plans. But I think Sony wanted to release LoU2 and GhostofTsushima and sell as many bundles with them as they could and then start their next gen campaign. But things all went sideways.
@BrilliantBill
Good point. Nintendo usually just does their own thing no matter what anyone else is doing.
@BrilliantBill Apparently, Sony wanted to boost PS4 sales and thus Plus subscriptions with those two games just before releasing PS5 but they decided not to delay The Last of Us II any longer because of the leaks and spoilers. The PS5 is quite the mystery right now.
WRT Nintendo and Sony, infrastructure to work remotely isn't the same as the US (or West, in general). So I think that's caused hiccups. MS has done very well to communicate to customers, which is commendable to MS more than it is a knock against the other two gaming giants, imo.
Love what they're doing, hopefully others follow this way of doing things!
