We're all excited to see what new game development studio The Initiative has in store for us on Xbox Series X, having been opened by Microsoft back in 2018. There are even rumours that the company is working on a reboot of Perfect Dark, which it's safe to say we're pretty excited about!
More news on The Initiative has arrived this week, with the LinkedIn profile for designer Justin Perez indicating that he's now working with the studio (thanks MisterPixel). The profile states that he joined earlier this month, and that he's working as a Senior Systems Designer.
It's pretty exciting news for fans of Respawn Entertainment and BioWare, both of which Perez previously worked for. His profile reveals that he focused on combat and systems design on 2017's Mass Effect Andromeda, and later worked on hero design for last year's smash hit, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
