The much-anticipated Final Fantasy 7: Remake takes centre stage in the UK charts roundup this week, finally knocking Call of Duty: Modern Warfare off the top spot. Allegedly, the PS4 game did double the launch sales that Resident Evil 3 did last week on the platform, which has now dropped to seventh overall.
Elsewhere, Forza Horizon 4 retains its place in the top ten for another week after coming in sixth, while Grand Theft Auto V is now almost out of the rankings, dropping down to ninth. There's no place for Crash Bandicoot this time around either, with the likes of Mario Kart 8: Deluxe and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order proving popular.
Here's a look at the top ten all formats chart for the week ending April 11th:
| Last Week | This Week | Game |
|---|---|---|
| N/A | 1 | Final Fantasy 7: Remake |
| 1 | 2 | Call of Duty: Modern Warfare |
| 4 | 3 |
Animal Crossing: New Horizons |
| 3 | 4 | FIFA 20 |
| 25 | 5 | Mario Kart 8: Deluxe |
| 5 | 6 | Forza Horizon 4 |
| 2 | 7 | Resident Evil 3 |
| 9 | 8 | Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order |
| 8 | 9 | Grand Theft Auto V |
| 17 | 10 | The Last of Us: Remastered |

Nice to see Fallen Order doing well. And FFVIIR is no surprise either.
Nowadays reviews drive sales and I hate that because reviews are just opinions but perhaps Capcom needs to realise that they could have done more with Resident Evil 3 Remake after the excellent Resident Evil 2 Remake.
Nice to see Forza Horizon still on the list. 👍🏻
