Hello to everyone who will be willing to help.
Me and my 11 years old are having a problem with the Xbox 360S. It wouldn't connect to internet, so after long and difficult discussions on different "Microsoft" forums, I was suggested to de-update the system, which should solve the problem. I did, and now we lost the Kinect... The problem is that it is now on Dashboard: 2.0.15574.0. It connects to the router through Wi-Fi or cable, but cannot get out to Internet. Checked with the ISP, everything is open (Spain). Tried to do the offline update, which I thought might solve not only the connectivity problem, but bring back the Kinect operations, but the console would not start the update. It does recognize the USB, when loads, but the update would not start (everything is done correctly: USB 4Gb Fat32, 17559 version of offline update downloaded from Microsoft support web-site, etc..). When I insert the USB and turn on the console, it just keeps the black screen without any prompts... Please, help me to solve this problem.
@johndoe89 yes, it is. However, it is what it is And I don't know what to do. The AI consultancy told me that I might be needing to tackle the nand memory block...
