I jumped back on the Xbox after an extended hiatus and found the play anywhere sale. Picked up 10 games for a tenner. The initial games I've explored are already rewarding in terms of cheevos. Don't Die Mr Robot 3d is a blast.

@AgentCooper it's done! Or rather, I have a refined 60,000 word manuscript prepared to send to potential publishers. I now need the motivation and time to post it out.

I found a ton of games in a sale last month and it's been fun. Also a couple of games I already owned (sky survivors and cozy designer) added an additional 2k and 1k extra achievement points respectively. Sky survivors is actually a solid experience with depth. Worth picking up.

@AgentCooper Post apocalyptic science fiction taken place in Liverpool. Its based on events in Gaza, the USA and Northern Ireland repackaged as a group of people joining a rebellion and being caught up fighting a fascist regime, whom have cordoned off the area. its something I would read myself, wherever it has an audience, probably not ROFL 🤣

I 100% Ball X Pit earlier this week and I really enjoyed my time with the game. It was a fairly easy completion, too, so it was quite a relaxed play.

@AgentCooper I've currently got 2 games on the go, Clair Obscur:Expedition 33 and Commandos:Origins. Out of the two, I've played more of Clair Obscur currently. Commandos is quite hard and Clair Obscur is a type of game I've never played before so I've got that on the easiest setting.

I've been filtering in achievement clean ups in between main games this year and currently up to 34% according to TA.

Just finished off Day of the Tentacle, I now have the plat and a 💯.

The new update rolled out so now the 100% stand out more and you can hide games. My next game is Forza 6, cant wait to get started.

I haven't hit all the cheevos in a game since April ROFL 🤣. That said I have started to build up quite the collection of retail games. I may concentrate on working towards the 600k once the Summer is over. Currently I'm playing Cuphead.

@themcnoisy Avast! Shipmate MC Noisey, the hunt has been slow recently as I was briefly without console but I'm looking to increase my work rate if possible on the way to the 80k summit. Currently chipping away at Vampire Crawlers.

How is Cuphead, as fiendish as its reputation suggests?

@AgentCooper yeah it hard, but doable. It's oldskool in as much as level memory is just as important as execution. I've already put it on the back burner ROFL 🤣. Not because of the difficulty but I've decided to concentrate on playing Space Marine 2 (which is fantastic) and Soul Hackers 2 (which has a good premise but is formulaic, a stripped back Atlus jrpg). That will probably last until the weekend lol.

@themcnoisy Good stuff, I always reckoned it would be a good Switch game. Might have a look at some point. Let me know how you find Space Marine too, always fancied that, looks mint.

I've been revisiting MGSV: Ground Zeroes for the 100%, it's like slipping on comfy shoes even if some of the extra ops are frustrating as heck. That fox engine is something else.

Still on with Vampire Crawlers too. I don't think it's hit me the same as Survivors yet, but it definitely has something about it.

Xbox have expanded their character limit on gamer tags too, so I've changed mine to match my PSN, so you'll see Bundersvessel now instead of Peace Salad 👍

MGS 5 (both iterations) is fantastic. You are so close to cracking 80k.

I'm still playing Soul Hackers 2, once it gets into the main game, you can put it on and mindlessly level up, once you grasp the mechanics it's easy to box everything off as you play. Which has been perfect honestly. Space Marine 2 is awesome, I bought it for £12 I think. Definitely worth it.

@themcnoisy I will definitely look at Space Marine, the positive reports are encouraging. I also cracked 80K finally, though I'm not getting much time to play anything at the moment due to work and that. I've been playing The Adventures of Elliot on PS5 too which I probably will have to double dip with in future for that Play Anywhere goodness ☺️
