@Bob_Salat well done on the cocoon 1000g. My Gamepass lapsed after starting it and I never finished it. I may go back in the future actually.

I'm doing great thanks for asking. I've added 90,000 achievement point since last posting in just under 3 months. How are you?

The MCC achievement list is great. I will get back on Halo for sure. Great series of games.

Currently playing on Rare Replay which is a strange selection of good old games. But they are all really old and haven't aged as well, as say Halo.

@Bob_Salat We can start you towards that by playing DPS Idle and Grim idle. They are both free and you will get 5k achievements!

How do people feel about the lack of Xbox achievements on EA and Ubisoft PC titles on the Xbox ecosystem? I only found out that one can't gain Xbox achievements on PC from those publishers. Eyecandy/more fps versus gamescore. Tough choice. I'm leaning on the former or whichever setup is free on the household.

This year, I'll likely play Immortals of Aveum, Fenyx Rising, and revisit AC Odyssey while I still have a Gamepass sub.

@cardcrusher29 achievements are just an added extra. I don't game for them playing chess on my phone or Nintendo switch. I love achievements and trophies but have an addictive and target driven personality. So having them just on the Xbox is good for me ☺️

That's a good way to go about achievement hunting. An extra. I've sticked around games to hunt a couple more achievements after watching the end credits. I used to just move on to other things. Strangely, I have become more selective since joining Gamepass. I only start games that I think I would enjoy to complete (IE roll credits). How that happened is a mystery to me.

Jusant is truly phenomenal. There's just something calming about climbing that mountain and looking at the abandoned places along the way. I wish more people would check it out while it's still on Gamepass.

Great work on the Indiana Jones perfect. I have never played Jusant, but will as @cardcrusher29 and yourself have provided ample motivation.

I had a disaster 2 weeks ago which has destroyed my achievement hunting. I have fractured my index and middle finger on my predominant hand. Crazy situation involving moving a treadmill with a broken incline. I trapped my fingers and my neighbour had to crowbar me out. So I've been playing in short bursts.

Balatro is phenomenal guys. Honestly everyone should play it.

If you like American Football, legend bowl has also been fantastic. I just called the plays and the game plays out, in an old school 24bit style (better than Snes / Megadrive but still pixelated). I finished 30 seasons and watched my team win 12 Superbowls.

@PeaceSalad it's almost pain free now. I could have lost my fingers if it wasn't for my neighbour. Due to my limited agility, I've just turned to Balatro and a few other simple games. I was planning on finishing Indie, crash racing and a FPS rogue like I was enjoying but couldn't use the triggers ROFL 😂

@PeaceSalad I've been using a wired Power A controller for a while now. I may have touched lucky but they are robust and are half the price of an official controller.

My original pad has trigger issues and the A button on my second was sticking (tbf I use them all the time so it's expected). The power A has lasted 12 months of significant use and is still going strong. I bought one as a backup too.

Almost at half a mil. Once I've achieved that, I am moving back to Indiana Jones and some other Gamepass games.

I'm glad the damage was kept to a minimum with all things considered.
What a truly freak accident. How fortunate that you have that neighbor to call for help during the incident. You could have suffered massive blood loss or be amputated.

@cardcrusher29 yeah it was mad. We bought a second hand running machine and had to collect it. It was dark although we have security lights. I had my hand on the side and the incline clicker into place as we moved it out of the car. I was literally screaming for help ROFL 🤣. We tried everything to release it, unfortunately my wife and son are about as useful as a chocolate fireguard in an emergency. My direct neighbour tried to spanner away the bolts but the size was wrong and their direct neighbour rescued me with the crowbar.

Due to the adrenaline I put it together in the garage. It didn't work. Paid a £100 for fractured fingers and a huge , highly dangerous paperweight. I'm mostly ok now. I can't do my usual weight or boxing routines for another couple of weeks.

Good things have come out of it though. I've bought better training gloves rather than using mitts to protect my hands and concentrating on cardio is a lot more fun!

Anyway, enough about the losing battle against the hardest boss since Melania. I've finally cracked the half a million barrier, phew, and my wife picked me up Dynasty Warriors origins as part of our anniversary presents to each other. So it's actually a good time to alter perspective and play immersive games with a longer term appeal. My achievement hunting will slow significantly moving forward. But it's been lot of fun!

I've scaled back my gaming though. I'm only gaming for an hour or two each night, so a game like Dynasty Warriors origins will take me a whole month. Quite liberating honestly.

@AgentCooper yo AC. My achievement hunting has hit the skids. Strangely I picked up three games for a fiver reward voucher the last few days, and one of them was listeria wars, which has a plethora of easy to obtain cheevos so far. The other two games are well tougher.

I'm currently writing a novel so don't have much time otherwise.

@AgentCooper A couple of months! It's coming along. Into the last half of the final act. It's been fun! I will send it over when I'm done editing it in 5-6 weeks time.

For some reason I was compelled to get all of the achievements in It Takes Two. Not sure why since I really didn't enjoy the game but it is what it is. So I did just that, got all of the achievements for It Takes Two. Now I can delete this game from my hard drive and start something new.

@RogueCooper For the most part. There are a few that you may have to look up as they require doing certain things that arent really in an area of a the main game. After my son and I finish the story we went back and grabbed the few that we missed. Just explore everywhere.

I'm almost done on Hogwarts Legacy. I've got 4 more achievements left to 100% the game and the one I'm currently working through is a collect everything style one. The other 3 are just story related ones so will be very easy to finish off once I've done this one.

@AgentCooper It is a fairly easy, but time consuming, one with no fiddling with saves required. I needed some internet help as I'm not great with puzzles and the collection achievement is a real pain due to the amount of stuff you have to collect. I now have only 2 achievements left to get and I'll be done by the end of this week
