Tissuer and Glissando down as well. Only had about an hour of gaming time last night on xbox. As long as I can get the adequate time this weekend, I should be able to finish this up.

I've made it to monolith and leveled up to 50 for the party. Haven't started act III yet, but hopefully I will tomorrow.

Im getting close to the end. Just beat renoir at the end of act II

Banjo-

By the end of act 1 and start of 2 (Verso joins), I got used to the poorly explained game mechanics and UI, and I started to like the game much more, also because the characters had more of the story uncovered. Expedition 33 has a very rough start, but it's very much worth playing.

I defeated the paintress last night. I've been told there's either a ton you can do now, or head right towards the end of the game. Considering I'll be on vacation Monday for a full week, I'm trying to button this game up before then. I'd rather not come back from a week vacation and try to remember all the gameplay. My current team is sitting at 57-58. If I start heading to the end of the game, is that too low? Or just about right? Im still playing on normal and barely getting by.

@xeofate for sure thank you. Im going to give it a shot with a some light grinding. If I need to lower the difficulty, I will.

@NintendoByNature I think you are fine! I was around level 40-42 or so when I got to the final battles. It was difficult, maybe, but very doable (and those battles prove my reflexes, lol).

After some grinding, and getting my team to 61-62, I simply couldn't beat the final boss. Unfortunately, for the first time, I had to turn the difficulty down which pains me to say after going this strong the entire game. I DID manage to finish it, thankfully.

It's still the best game of 2025 by a country mile, and there was never a dull moment. Even the grinding wasn't tedious for me. I only wanted to finish since I'll be going on a week long vacation and didn't want to remember all the details a week later. Solid 9.5/10 game. Damn near perfect imo.

@xeofate dang, I dont think i equipped stendahl. Most I was doing was 50-60k with various moves. I sort of forgot about using life steal unfortunately. Eh, oh well.. I still managed to finish.

Yea I was able to breeze through phase 1 no problem, no deaths. But phase 2 had so many jittery moves coming at you it was hard as hell to parry.

@Banjo- I do like the colour palette in the game world, but the black colour for the menu system is very difficult to navigate through imo. The number of items you collect aka weapons, pictos, etc. gets very cluttered very quickly.
In regards of the maps. I do like that Sandfall chose not to include any map or compass within areas as it heavily encourages exploration, and you go around just like in real-life navigate via landmarks.

Anyone know if the latest patch that's just release on PC and PlayStation is now available for the Xbox version?

@Rob3008 Yes. It is now available from last Friday. Installed it last Friday and is around 7.8Gb in size.

I've just gave it another chance since dropping it on release because the lack of maps and I still can't get into it. I guess I have to accept that it's not a game for me. Love the music, love the characters, love the combat (even if it seems/feels a little unfair at times). Can't say I love the story because it hasn't picked up, but it seems intriguing enough.
But the exploration just kills any joy for me.
I really want to enjoy it after hearing/reading so many good things, but it seems I can't.

@Lup when you're not in the overworld, i believe you just follow lights, lamps, or flames from what I remember if you want to continue on. There's usually only s couple side paths you can take that typically lead back to the main path.

When you're in the overworld, there's a map you can look at that has your story point of interest on it. I made good use of that when in the over world.
