Next week, Europe's biggest gaming convention arrives in the form of Gamescom 2025 - with this year's show set to be one of the most expansive yet. Dozens of companies are confirmed to be attending the event, with in-person hands-on sessions being joined by plenty of livestream showcases - making this another busy week in the gaming calendar. So, what are your plans for this year's show?

Of course, one option with Gamescom is actually attending the event yourself. Cologne's big gaming convention is a public event, with thousands of tickets up for grabs across the multi-day bonanza. If you're planning on swinging over there this year, we hope you have an amazing time!

We'll be covering this year's event from the comfort of our own homes - but that doesn't mean we won't be super duper busy over at PX HQ. The Game Awards host Geoff Keighley has his Opening Night Live plans locked in for August 19th, while Microsoft has two stacked broadcasts planned for August 20th & 21st - featuring looks at ROG Xbox Ally and multiple Xbox Game Studios titles amongst other bits and pieces. We'll be bringing you all the big news from these livestreams, of course, as well as the latest Future Games Show on the 20th!

So, what's the plan for you next week? Catching what you can of the shows when life doesn't throw a million curveballs at you? Gathering a bunch of pals around to watch any of the livestreams? Better yet, are you actually going to attend the event in Cologne, Germany?
