Poll: Split Fiction Players, What Do You Think Of The Game So Far?

When we reviewed Split Fiction here at Pure Xbox earlier in the week, we mentioned in the conclusion section that it was surely going to be a Game of the Year contender, and that's ultimately proved to be the case already.

It's now the highest-rated title of 2025 on Metacritic across all platforms, racking up an extremely impressive average score of 91, and the full game went live on the Xbox Store back on Thursday for those who want to buy it.

As a reminder, here's a bit of what we had to say about Split Fiction in our review:

"Split Fiction raises the bar for co-op adventure games and will surely be in the 'Game of the Year' conversation come the end of 2025. Its increased difficulty will put some players off, but those who relish the challenge will discover a magnificently varied, inventive and ambitious gameplay journey that's bound to stick long in the memory."

We're sure that plenty of Pure Xbox readers will have picked up this game already — especially considering it's a lower-priced title with a discount for Xbox Game Pass members — but if not, there's still a way you can try it for free!
