A new month is about to kick off, and looking at the list of games coming to Xbox in April 2026, it's actually quite ridiculous how many great-looking indies are on the way over the next few weeks!

Many of them are on Xbox Game Pass, too. The likes of Hades 2, Replaced, Vampire Crawlers and Aphelion are launching on the service, but we don't want you to miss out on some of the exciting non-Game Pass titles either.

So, down below we've picked out 10 Xbox indie games that we're particularly excited for in April 2026, but we encourage you to check out our full 2026 Xbox releases guide to see everything that's coming out, as there are many titles that would have normally made this monthly list but have found themselves competing with some indie behemoths.

Just to clarify in case someone mentions it, we're aware that some of these games are on the cusp of what might be considered "indie" - a few of the following titles have large publishers but indie development studios, for example. As long as there's something about them that's indie, we've considered them eligible to go on the list.
