Get Even (Xbox One)

Get Even is a game that many have probably never heard of, but it's a super-underrated adventure from the folks behind the more recent apocalyptic title Chernobylite. Reminiscent of the Fear series with a little bit of Condemned thrown in for good measure, Get Even is a dark first-person thriller that feels plucked right out for the Xbox/Xbox 360 era.

This is one we've thrown in here largely because of how underappreciated it is, but that's no slight on its quality at all - far from it. Oh, and Get Even happens to be on a crazy good discount right now, so if you want to play something a little different this spring, why not give it a go?

Dying Light: The Beast (Xbox Series X|S)

Dying Light: The Beast continues Techland's zombie-slaying saga in great fashion, and after the somewhat bloated Dying Light 2, The Beast felt like a bit of a breath of fresh air for the series last year.

What's even better is that just this month, the team has dropped a huge update for the game dubbed 'Restored Land' - and it's now included with the base game at no extra cost! Yep, if you browse the Xbox Store for this one you'll now see it named 'Dying Light: The Beast Restored Land', and this seems like the perfect time to jump into this undead adventure on Xbox.

Rad (Xbox One)

Fancy brushing up on your Double Fine history before Kiln arrives on Game Pass next month? Well, the team's 3D action roguelite Rad could be worth adding to your library, especially because it was published by Bandai Namco and isn't in the main XGP library as a result.

With a four-star rating on the Xbox Store, folks seem to dig what Tim Schafer & co. did with this one, and we quite like its weird and wonderful '80s aesthetic too. Now's probably not a bad time to remind yourself of the creativity that Double Fine always cooks up, especially at this price!

Steelrising (Xbox Series X|S)

Another in the long list of soulslikes we've seen come to Xbox in recent years, Steelrising doesn't do anything particularly unique, but developer Spiders did indeed serve up a solid soulsy effort with this one a few years back.

With great visual design and atmosphere in spades, Steelrising is definitely worth a play, particularly if you dig your soulslikes on Xbox. It even has an 'Assist Mode', so if these sorts of games are often too punishing for your tastes, maybe Steelrising is the one to start off with?

The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me (Xbox Series X|S)

Out of the Dark Pictures games, folks seem to rave about House of Ashes the most - and while we do agree that's one of the strongest in Supermassive's horror anthology, we want to shout out the final entry here in this feature.

Indeed, The Devil in Me closed out the series back in 2022, and we really liked what the team delivered. A more horror-appropriate setting brought all the spooks we were after, and it feels like the series ended on a real high with this one. The Dark Pictures output was certainly mixed, but the two games we've mentioned are definitely worth grabbing; particularly The Devil in Me via the Xbox Spring Sale 2026.
