Topic: Overwatch

Hey all, I know i been of this for a long time, To move on i like to know how many people got overwatch in the last week before i get it. Because am looking get a team made up to have fun. And after the beta i really love this game and been a while i feel this way about any game. I do love FPS but last years where bad for me for FPS, because they were not up to mark for me.

This one isn't for me, despite the great reviews it's getting. It's all online with no campaign for me to settle into. Same deal as Battleborn really.

Been playing this alot lately and I am loving it. So far my favorite characters are Torbjorn and Junkrat. I tend to play more Torbjorn though.

@tylertreese: Dedends on who you play as. If you are use to CoD or Battlefield games Solider 76 is a good character to try first as he plays alot like a CoD character.

@tylertreese: Not a problem, sorry for the rushed advice earlier I was at work but here's some more.

Some easy charcters to start off with for each class is

Lucio for healing Mercy is a good one too but she relies more on movement then Lucio especially since she can fly.

Reaper is a good offense character to learn that class while Torbjorn is a good defense character. Most people say Dva is a good tank for beginners but I prefer Winston.

Keep in mind a big thing to Overwatch is the ability to change characters after you die so keep in mind if something is not working, then try another character.

Well I decided to give Reinhardt a try last night and he has quickly become my favorite tank character. I am not big on tank characters, at least in games like WoW or Heroes of the Storm, but I love how easy it is to pick up and play Reinhardt. It also helps when you have a great Mercy on your team.

@tylertreese: Hoping you're enjoying the game. Another great tip I can give you is a great way to learn the maps or get use to a new character is play against the A.I. rather then actual people. It's a really good learning tool and depending on the difficulty you set the bots the matches can be a slower pace so you can take the time to learn.

But I'll check that one out too because I still have more time to play during the summer. I also messaged some random people on overbuff around my skill level that play a lot lol, actually worked pretty well.

I actually just started using that place. It's pretty slick.

I am back to playing this game again after about a years break or so, alot of changes happened. For one thing I like the changes they did to Torbjorn for one thing he's not so much a niche character anymore and I find that using him more on offense now is plausible now. Haven't tried any of the new characters yet so I can't comment on them. Still having alot of fun with this game.
