Is this a loophole to going back to exclusives? They can make this a PS5 and Switch subscription like ea access and include free classic games while making you buy separate cloud licenses for unincluded just for that platform. Sony and Nintendo will take a 30% cut from both the sub and the game. Then these games will use the Xbox cloud on the PS5 or switch built in browser. Then they will discontinue publishing new games and eventually delist their games from PlayStation and switch, going back to exclusives.
I don't know about Xbox but with PS6 I believe you will have an addon for the base console, $80 for one slot, $200 for 3 slots, and $300 for 5 slots with a 24 hour grace period for an online check in discs on ps6p and ps6s. That's how Microsoft should do it. I also believe that OEMs will not be required to support it. You want multiple slots because you're not just needing more than one physical game with remote play but there's no physical media with the portable or Microconsole.
