My wife and I were big fans of their Borderlands and Game of Thrones games, and plan to get around to The Expanse at some point. Sorry to hear they're struggling.
I get the hype and all, but Bethesda games tend not to launch in the greatest condition, so it's a bit odd to me that someone would pay extra to play it in the worst state it will ever be.
That said, I did pay for the Diablo IV early access, but that was more justifiable in my mind because I wanted to get some gaming in before launch-day crowds potentially overwhelmed the servers.
Less risk of that happening with Starfield, given that it's single player. So I'll probably wait until regular launch day.
I've played through all the base content + DLCs. At this point I'll just log in every week, do enough to unlock the seasonal car, and stop until next week. It's also my go-to "jump in and absentmindedly mess around" game if I'm mostly paying attention to something else, like a work call or a sporting event.
I'd be curious to see what Microsoft and Sony are capable of with a larger hardware budget. I do get a little annoyed that my choices today are "low settings with 60 FPS" or "high settings with 30 FPS." Would be worth it to me for a box that could do "high settings at 60 FPS" but with less cost/complexity than a PC.
Hyped for this. Was a big fan of Diablo 3 (first ARPG I played) and loved the aesthetic/quality of Ori but not the gameplay. An ARPG by the Ori team could be amazing.
Maybe a user should be required to download (or stream), launch, and spend some time interacting with the game before they can leave a review. Some attempt at proving that the people leaving reviews have actually played the game.
The FH5 Hot Wheels DLC is a blast and very polished... I just wish there was more of it. I finished all the content in 10-15 hours, whereas the FH4 expansions kept me engaged much longer.

Re: Xbox Team Pick Their Most Anticipated Games Of 2022
Surprised nobody listed Hellblade 2. The first one was fantastic, and that gameplay reveal at the Game Awards last month was jaw-dropping.
