to be honest, i’m not defending these companies, but it’s just a trivial matter in the first place, either you’re going to get the game digitally or physically day one, or just wait for the sale, and get angry anyway when a studio has to shut down because it doesn’t sale enough to make even
@SuntannedDuck2 i agree it’s take it or leave it for me, while i’m not that bothered about it and understand if people are, not many people is going to care, also people on the internet act differently in real life
it might make a difference, it might not, but personally, i don’t really care about the whole physical vs digital debate, i just rather play games, i understand both sides of the argument but i’m not going to take a stand for either side, i like gaming but i don’t treat it like it’s my life
@BacklogBrad i understand the feelings, but i think that not much would change even it was on the full disc, it’s the collectors and pro physical crowds who are making a fuss over it
@OldGamer999 right, so i don’t see the point of canceling pre-orders, if you’re that upset about it, you might as well quit modern gaming at this point
@Pichuka97 you know, i notice that every post you make is at negative xbox news or something that makes playstation or nintendo look good, are you really a true xbox fan or a ponybot, in fact, the second that xbox started to change their strategy, you suddenly hate xbox?
you know what, i’m going to express my opinion about this, i think most physical owners and collecters just flat out hate digital, i understand the sentiment, games should be up for generations to play, if the servers go down, the game is potentially lost media, but all this boycotting, canceling pre-orders, and threating to pirate or quit gaming, make it seems that people rather die on their physical hill rather than just do digital purchases or you have it in your head, that the only way you have to buy physical but unless it’s a sale because it’s you think it’s not valuable
yes, i understand that companies should establish if a game requires content download or not, and truthfully, i don’t really care about game preservation, if not to the point that i have to make sure that every single game out there has to be preserved.
@BacklogBrad i understand their feelings, but companies don’t most of the time, so you shouldn’t have perform mental gymnastics to justify getting a game
I understand that there’s people who wants to own their games, but i don’t think it’s going to force microsoft to change their minds, i think canceling pre-orders over something that is trivial is stupid in my opinion
@IOI to be honest the thing is that if you feel this strategy is going hurt Xbox more than helping, you’re within your rights to think that, just be respectful to other people’s opinions and come to their own conclusions, if you want to sway others, at least do so politely, because this behavior makes you sound like you’re getting genuinely angry over this, and don’t speak for the fandom as a whole because they might not share the same opinions as you
@IOI you have to understand that the old ways won’t work forever i mean, ps and nintendo can coast by for now, but even they have to make changes in the future
@Fiendish-Beaver i don’t know if you’re genuinely don’t care what happens next or you’re so sure on your prediction, but you do realize that you’re acting like console sales is the only thing that matters
to be honest sony is going to follow them soon or later, they did with nintendo, so xbox is coming eventually, especially if that xbox console/pc hybrid comes true
to be honest, i’m going based off sarah bond and phil spencer said about consoles, and i rather wait for a official announcement from them, before i’ll be worried
@Xboxian360 you have to understand that they’re a business and they don’t really care about brand loyalty or stuff like that, if it’s bothering you enough, then you’re within your right to leave xbox behind

Re: Microsoft Planning To 'Restructure' Xbox Distribution In Central Europe, Says Report
@fatpunkslim, i agree, can we at least wait and see if the rumors bare any weight?
Re: Microsoft Planning To 'Restructure' Xbox Distribution In Central Europe, Says Report
can we wait and see instead just doom and glooming?
Re: Microsoft Planning To 'Restructure' Xbox Distribution In Central Europe, Says Report
it’s just doom and gloom unless confirmed
Re: Microsoft Planning To 'Restructure' Xbox Distribution In Central Europe, Says Report
@Coletrain besides, it doesn’t mention anything about them leaving consoles

Re: Microsoft Planning To 'Restructure' Xbox Distribution In Central Europe, Says Report
Keep in mind that’s it’s vague
Re: Microsoft Planning To 'Restructure' Xbox Distribution In Central Europe, Says Report
keep in mind it’s just one source, they could be wrong for all we know

@Balaam_ i’m expecting dreamcastguy to make it seem worse then it probably is
Re: Xbox Officially Adds Steam Integration Via New PC App Feature
@Boogaloo_Jenkins do you always have to be double sided on good news?

Re: 'Huge' Number Of People Cancelling DOOM Pre-Orders Over 'Botched Physical Release'
to be honest, i generally get what’s cheaper, digital or physical and a lot of people buy digitally nowadays
Re: 'Huge' Number Of People Cancelling DOOM Pre-Orders Over 'Botched Physical Release'
i seriously doubt that a majority of the pre-orders are physical to begin with
Re: 'Huge' Number Of People Cancelling DOOM Pre-Orders Over 'Botched Physical Release'
to be honest, i don’t think this is going to hurt microsoft as much as we think we would

to be honest, i don’t know how much is a “huge” amount, for all we know, they could just exaggerating to cause more drama

@BacklogBrad i understand their feelings, but companies don’t most of the time, so you shouldn’t have perform mental gymnastics to justify getting a game

Re: Xbox Announces Gears Of War: Reloaded, Releasing Summer 2025
@Boogaloo_Jenkins well, it also benefits xbox users that they’re getting a free upgrade if they bought the game prior to announcent

to be honest sony is going to follow them soon or later, they did with nintendo, so xbox is coming eventually, especially if that xbox console/pc hybrid comes true

besides involving console sales, they’re still selling over the original xbox consoles

to be honest i think ponies wanted us xbox fans act upset but we’re just glad that we’re regularly getting games
Re: Xbox Announces Gears Of War: Reloaded, Releasing Summer 2025
and if people knew this was going to happen sooner or later, we shouldn’t act surprised
