to be honest, i’m not defending these companies, but it’s just a trivial matter in the first place, either you’re going to get the game digitally or physically day one, or just wait for the sale, and get angry anyway when a studio has to shut down because it doesn’t sale enough to make even

you know what, i’m going to express my opinion about this, i think most physical owners and collecters just flat out hate digital, i understand the sentiment, games should be up for generations to play, if the servers go down, the game is potentially lost media, but all this boycotting, canceling pre-orders, and threating to pirate or quit gaming, make it seems that people rather die on their physical hill rather than just do digital purchases or you have it in your head, that the only way you have to buy physical but unless it’s a sale because it’s you think it’s not valuable

yes, i understand that companies should establish if a game requires content download or not, and truthfully, i don’t really care about game preservation, if not to the point that i have to make sure that every single game out there has to be preserved.

to be honest, i don’t know how much is a “huge” amount, for all we know, they could just exaggerating to cause more drama

besides involving console sales, they’re still selling over the original xbox consoles
