@Balaam_ it's not great. Ive left the thing on overnight to download updates and forgot to plug it in, and it was at 5% when I came back to it ~6 hours later. I would imagine running a Gameboy game would be similar in power draw.
@Audiokrak and You're right, an Anbernic or an old laptop is way cheaper for pure emulation. But the point of the GB Operator isn't that. it’s the ability to interact with the physical cartridge, manage real save files, and use the Ally’s screen for my actual collection. This setup was also useful for save editing and backing up and switching saves on the fly to use on my Pokemon Stadium games and playing with Gameboy camera.
'Doing it because I can' is basically the spirit of the PC gaming community. If we only did what was 'efficient,' nobody would build cool over-the-top setups! I am sorry it came off as arrogant to you, appreciate the feedback though.
@Audiokrak not clout chasing, just sharing something because I had fun doing it. I didn't reach out to Pure Xbox, they asked me for additional details. I'm responding to comments here because I think it's fun! I love my anbernic devices and use those as my primary way to play, but again, I can't play Gameboy Camera on that and take terrible selfies lol.

@Gabrie but imagine all the 0.014 megapixel photos you could take!
