Let's be honest, the only reason they're being given a 4th/5th/6th chance is because Sony overspent by a factor of 5 and is desperate to recoup any of that money. Any other studio would be shuttered as soon as the delayed Marathon patch comes out in December
Yeah sure, reboot the game that got rebooted several times and only barely came together as a vertical slice before getting canned. Never mind the fact it's been a decade, the developers shine has tarnished a bit, and the trailers haven't aged well, the only way forward is backwards 10+ years
