@Kaloudz That would be very interesting. They'll never do that. Imagine ID doing Halo. The Coalition doing Doom. Mix it up. Competition does wonders for creativity.
It is always unfortunate when people lose their jobs, but if your game doesn't sell and no money is coming in, the game is over. It's that simple. There is also a 7-year gap between Hellblade 1 and 2. Just think of all those fixed costs. Developers here also make niche games or games for the modern audience. If only they would release games faster that are smaller in scope and where gameplay is the most important thing, and without gender politics.
