@Millionski As someone who genuinely despises Game Pass, this direct did nothing for me on that front.
I want a whole game from this thing and that's coming to PC anyway so....I'll just buy it there.
DOOM is DOOM, it's not for me and the other two games are quite possibly the most boring looking games alongside the Marvel tripe that Sony and soon to be MS will crap out.
I swear we do this song and dance on a yearly basis. The direct was fine but nothing from it would've made me switch to Xbox if I didn't already own one.
Considering how bad Nuts & Bolts was alongside all of Rare's output since like 2006 (I'm talking about quality, not sales) have been, fans would be right to be sceptical.
There's only two re-releases of The Last of Us which is far less than the crap that Bethesda squirt out every console generation and one of those is a remake.
Mattrick left in 2014 and they started gobbling publishers in 2021.
Microsoft had more than enough developers in 2020 to easily compete with Sony and Nintendo but chose to go scorched earth and gobble up entire publishers under the illusion that outspending both Nintendo and Sony will lead them to the complete success and growth these clueless CEO envisioned.
Instead of putting in actual effort with the studios they did have, they chose to consolidate which is pathetic.
You can tell me how tough it is for them all you want but Nintendo and to a lesser extent Sony managed to entirely bounce back from their failings through actual effort or innovation, why can't Xbox do the same?
So because PS5 ports will be happening, they should go back on their cross platform plans that they themselves pushed for and were deemed as the saviours of gaming for because other gamers have a preferred control scheme?
Pray tell then, what is the "common sense" in this situation because I highly highly doubt that people here are running out to buy Xbox.
I live in the UK and have worked in Amazon, GAME and HMV when they used to stock games and the Xbox brand has never been popular here outside of the Xbox 360.
I stand by that Xbox is absolutely at its worst right now. The leadership is so derived of talent and people who know what they're doing that it's hard to really care.
I'm not interested in waiting years for Japanese games or pretending like its my go too console because that simply isn't true.
The Xbox Original was the golden age of the brand for me. People who loved games but also knew what they were doing; Spencer is downright pathetic and Bond isn't any better.
I'm also not interested in them buying up publishers and then pretending like they've contributed so much to the companies when that's disingenious and not true either.
I'm stunned that people love Quick Resume because I've had nothing but issues with it either crashing the games entirely, causing visual or audio glitches or the controller no longer responding correctly.
No doubt this comment will be removed for not being positive or attacked cause "Sony fan (which is also a lot of nonsense)" but eh, I'm not going to pretend I love the state of the brand or their mediocre current console.

How long until Microsoft buy them out because they can't beat Pokémon.

@Boogaloo_Jenkins Ninja Gaiden 4.
Re: Poll: How Would You Grade 2025's Xbox Developer Direct?
C because I only want one game out of the four that they showed.
Re: Xbox Reveals Ninja Gaiden 4, Coming Day One To Game Pass In Fall 2025
Definitely going to pick this one up on PS5, love these games.
Re: Banjo-Kazooie Revival Would Be 'Instantly Hated' By Some Fans, Says Original Composer
@N00BiSH It stunned me just how bad of a game Tooie was on replay a couple of years ago.
I loved the original two a lot growing up but only the first one is a genuinely good game imo.

Re: Talking Point: What Is Xbox Going To Do With Halo In 2025?
@nomither6
First off because Nintendo has IPs but people act like they don't exist to pretend that Sony is evil and MS are good guys.
Second off, Sony has no reason to ever put their games on Xbox.
Re: Talking Point: What Is Xbox Going To Do With Halo In 2025?

Why should Nintendo or Sony "share" with Microsoft when they've made it clear that they don't need too?

Re: Rumour: Microsoft Reportedly Chose Buying Studios Over 'Winding Down' Xbox In 2021
@eduscxbox
It is absolutely pathetic because streaming video games was already a failing idea and based on what information has came out, it is still a failure.
Oh please, how is it not an issue for every other developer in the business but poor Microsoft?
The lengths people will go too to protect this company is insane.

Having fun listing companies that aren't developers huh?
Woah, you mean that Microsoft could....work without outside companies like Sony and Nintendo do to make games?
Re: Rumour: Microsoft Reportedly Chose Buying Studios Over 'Winding Down' Xbox In 2021
@Fiendish-Beaver
"The few developers they had" God this is so disingenous that it hurts.
1. 343
2. Coalition
3. Double Fine
4. Compulsion
5. Rare
6. The Initiative
7. InXile Entertainment
8. Mojang Studios
9. Ninja Theory
10. Obsidian
11. Playground Games
12. Turn 10
13. Undead Labs
14. World's Edge
Nintendo has 6 studios that develop games and you're SERIOUSLY telling me that Microsoft couldn't compete with what they had?
