Fair enough, I'm sorry for being less than sure to be honest. The vibe on PureXbox is so anti-Sony every article that it feels like the whole site is just one big site to say everything wrong with Xbox is down to Sony or their fans.

I'm used to people here immediately calling me a Pony because I'm not exactly kind towards the brand cause I feel that the leadership is a genuine joke and wish the console could be unshackled from them.

Dude you're literally still saying you believe there's a deal with Sony despite the devs straight up confirming the reason for the issues.

I don't blame Microsoft or Nintendo when Sony's issues prevent them from getting games lol.

Sony did nothing, this was down to the Series S and the developers not having enough experience.

Since when? All I saw on this website and other social media sites were the Xbox commuting gloating, theorising that MS would then buy Take Two afterwards, Sony getting spent out of the industry and attacks towards the CMA and FTC.

I didn't want this deal to go through as I don't want Microsoft's ridiculous nonsense being copied the industry over but why act like the Xbox commuting wasn't a complete joke about how "amazing" the ABK and Bethesda deals were.

Still insane that you're not allowed to voice an opinion on Xbox here without it being scruitinized by the blind faithful if it isn't a glowing opinion.

I own every Xbox system and think this generation has been a complete joke. Every other Xbox has had something stellar and unique to it during its lifetime but the Series X has nothing that I would consider great.

I know the industry loved to mock the One X but that thing was so much more exciting than the current generation of Xbox.

It's also sad that because hardware is continually down for one brand, people on twitter and these sites are desperate to push this narrative that consoles are suddenly dying out or not as relevant.

Lol, I'm sure glad we have PureXbox business analysts tell us how these companies should be doing business.

Microsoft is only changing their strategy because their buyouts haven't went as they planned, simple as that.

They were gleeing at the prospect of exclusive Bethesda nonsense and said that their games will exist where Game Pass is.

It's a problem for the industry when one platform holder can get full reign because their leadership has absolutely no clue what they're doing.

Re: As Xbox Expands Its Reach, Former PlayStation Boss Talks About The Viability Of Consoles

Love seeing certain users glee at this nonsense of consoles dying off because their favourite brand didn't take off.

Consoles are relevant because not everyone wants to go through the hassle of building a gaming PC or keeping up with maintenance for one, Cloud isn't a viable option yet to be the sole way to experience games and mobile gaming is still met with division from the gaming community outside of Asia.

There will always be a market for consoles, shame that Layden decides to fuel fanboy nonsense.
