I think almost certainly at the end of 2027. The 25th anniversary of Xbox promises to be great next year. That could not be better celebrated than the announcements of new Gears, Halo and Forza games. The Game Awards at the end of 2026 is an excellent time to unveil the new Xbox just before the end of that year. Pre-orders will then open sometime at the end of the first quarter of 2027 and the release will be at the end of the year. Somewhere in October or November.
All Xsx and Xss games that will be released next year will automatically receive a (free or discounted) update for the new Xbox. Including GTA VI.
