So many day one releases are bad cheap games that nobody plays anyway. We already only get 4 or 5 decent Day One games a year. Cut back the nonsense and focus on a select few
Everything with Xbox starts about a half mile behind the rest of the industry. The gaming media has been actively out to get Xbox for years now. There are daily "dump on xbox" articles on most every platform.
Xbox deserves criticism. But the industry has made it very clear they have an axe to grind. The discourse around Xbox has been disproportionately negative for a long time.

It is just another survival/crafting game. The same as 7 out of every 10 games that get made. The industry is just so wildly uncreative.
