They need to just stop. I have bought every playstation system as I do like the playstation exclusive. But this cry baby act is giving me pause about getting the next playstation system.
I have not gotten an xbox since the 360. Not because I hate xbox but since moving to PC as my main gaming system I don't need the system as Microsoft releases there exclusive day one on pc also (though I would like them to add rare replay and Halo 5 so that there isnt a missing entry on my steam account ).
Yaa I don't think Microsoft will do that. They won't make an worse version on playstation as they know it might hurt sales.
Sure they would rather people buy it on xbox as they would gain more profits from it but if the PS version is worse. How many playstation owners will go out and buy an xbox just to play it. The revenue from that would be far less then people buying the PS version of equal quality.
I remember getting game pass for €1 for a month to try out the windows store and not had any issues with downloading games from there and running them.
My main issue with the store is backing up your games as I like to backup my games on harddrives and for some unknown reason Microsoft decided to encrypt the file that stores the games which prevents me from backing up the games.
If Microsoft fixed this issue or if they want to keep it encrypted that is fine but allow a backup feature like what steam has. If they did this then I would buy more games from the windows store.
