What y'all don't understand is that Xbox planned out their revenge against Sony's fake "we love physical" meme from the start. They never retrenched their idea from Xbox One to let game licenses be convertible. They also knew Sony was anticonsumer and would never consider giving fans dual licenses for games. Xbox knew Playstation would one day give up on physical, and they were ready to flip a switch and have 15 years of headstart against a company which has never supported game preservation, not since the PS1, PS2, PS3, PSP, PSVita, PSVR and probably the PSVR2. With Sony screwing over PS4 and PS5 owners with no solution, how can anybody stan for this company unless you live and breath woke slop and live service failures.
Hopefully Ubisoft leaned that Xbox gamers need Play Anywhere or they will be siloed on Gen 9 forever. The future of Xbox is on Windows, so support it with Xbox achievements.

Playstation does not matter anymore: it is a bespoke console with paid online and fixed graphics settings. It doesn't compete with project Helix, and its graphics potential or mod-ability. Playstation should get Xbox first party games, becuase they are buying an inferior version of the game. Best way to play is Xbox.
Nintendo matters even less: extremely weak graphics on a closed walled garden ecosystem with paid online. Putting Xbox games on there offers gamers the most mobile way to play games offline. That doesnt compete with Xbox.
Steam competes directly with Xbox. The exact same graphics potential. The exact same modding potential. BUT Steam has a destructive level of community that is definitionally a MONOPOLY. Xbox putting their games on PC is great, but putting them on Steam means no one will buy them on Xbox. Xbox on PC will die by being ignored in favor of the entrenched leader.
Xbox can still support Epic Launcher on PC so that Epic's games can cross pollinate on Xbox App. Steam doesnt make games, they are a glorified toll booth with user habits borderlining Google's dominance. If you dont fight against that, you will just die off on PC.
