Re: Xbox Is Officially Putting Time Limits On Cloud Gaming For Game Pass Members

PyroMessiah86

Terrible change and 15 hours is ridiculously restrictive. For a whole month?! On ultimate?

I basically have ultimate mostly for the cloud gaming when I'm away from my house so I can play games with my gf over at her place on my laptop (a notebook with no real GPU) it allows us to play Grounded and Gears together etc.

With this change, we buy the games, we pay to play online/ultimate, and buy our games to stream from our library and then have to pay again to stream them? That's nonsense.

Seriously. It's 1 step forward (disk to digital) and 2 steps back with Xbox. Has been for awhile now. They bait you with one bit of good news then totally screw you with another.

15 hours? There's nothing ultimate about 15hrs usage in a whole month.

Crap. Absolute crap. I'm not buying cloud hours , to stream games I own , buying ultimate and buying cloud hours. #£@£ that

Re: Dodgy Rumour About Disc Drive For Xbox Project Helix Racks Up 1 Million Views

PyroMessiah86

I think it will have a disc drive. It's a fair easy win for Xbox over Sony. Plus Xbox needs more visibility of their games out there in the wild. Limiting ways to play is the opposite of what Xbox needs to do.

If there's stores with Xbox games on the shelves and not PS games then that's an easy win for visibility and a talking point.
All of which Xbox needs long term.

Re: Rumour: Xbox Still Evaluating Whether Project Helix Will Support Physical Discs

PyroMessiah86

I think Xbox (if MS can eat the cost) do have a disc drive that will get some much needed goodwill back into the system if they end up being one of the few with a disc drive still.

That will also give more options to get their games out there to more people and potentially win a few people back in the process. All things they need to do.

Will MS eat the cost a bit to keep Helix price down for the consumer? Who knows. RAMageddon has changed so much and makes this difficult for Xbox to probably move too much on their own outside of what MS wants them to do...

Re: Microsoft Picked An Interesting Week To Start Acquisition Talks With Activision Blizzard

PyroMessiah86

@nessisonett the actions of Kotick don't speak for everyone there though do they? It's nothing to do with using the "widespread abuse of employees as a business opportunity". They have stacks of great studios under them and MS would have brought either way. They would have been looking at buying them well before that. Discussions would have happened inside MS much earlier.

It's also not just down to Phil so crying about Phil is useless. He's one of the few people at the top that actually play games and the stuff Xbox have put out especially service wise the past few years is top notch.

Re: Dying Light 2 Will Take About 500 Hours To 100%

PyroMessiah86

Not sure why everyone is whining. That figure is also for multiple endings. Most will only ever see one ending anyway 🤷‍♂️

After the quality of the original game and this looking like it's an improvement in every area I'm really looking forward to it. Average playtime is 100hr for main story and side quests. Which it was always gonna be bigger than the original which was around 50-60.

500hr is for literally everything. Seeing as I'm still playing the original game all these years later I'd say its good thing!
