Re: Bethesda Announces Six 'Top-Requested' Features Coming Soon To Starfield

@datboirsay they do apply to you. I am also playing on Xbox and it desperately needs brightness and HDR controls, as well as maps.

The game is really fun, but the darks look terrible and there's no way to adjust it at the moment. And navigation is just a mess.

If you want to find something that isn't a mission objective, there really isn't any good way to do it.

@PixelDragon funny thing is, I have never been able to get into any Bethesda games. I tried this because the setting seemed more appealing to me.

The thing that I have found is that I actually agree with all of your criticisms, but am somehow always itching to get back to it.

Bottom line for me is that so many things could, and should, have been done better for a modern game, but yet it is still so engrossing, expansive, and just...fun.

That's a testament of a great game in there. If you can get past some of the superficial issues, there's a really fun game in there with a lot to do.

As a non Bethesda fan, and someone easily bored with new games, this is a huge accomplishment to keep my interest in spite of the many issues I have with it.

TLDR, I have a lot of issues with it, but it still keeps me wanting more and I am just scratching the surface. Haven't really dug into ship or base building much, which is something I will likely enjoy. 8.5 out of 10 for me simply due to the sheer fun I have had.

If it was built to modern standards in every way, including clever ways to disguise load screens to feel seemless, I would give it a 10.
