I love it. I played Destiny for 10 years and I like the loot 'grind'*
THe art is wonderful and the music is great.
There are so many times in my life that I come home and just want to fire up a simple button masher. There are games like Streets of Rage but I like looters because I am contrinuting to something long term. In this case my power and gear score.
And the game is just fun and the power creep is fun.
*grinding as in Loot Pursuit. Not FOMO events for feeling like I have to do boring things over and over again
I'm not sure if it is the case the whole way through but the missions are way too long.
I played to level 10 and it was a slog. I totally understand why people love the Warhammer universe but it's so depressing and not enjoyable to play in for me.
And I can do grim. I'm not over here playing Super Mario Wonder.
Just the setting and the mission length and the slow leveling was too much for me.
Rocket League or competitive shooters like Destiny / Halo.
I didn't understand what it takes to get good at the things when I was younger and I'd get super scrubby and flustered really easily. I didn't try and enjoy the journey or understand that here things take a lot of time.
