That nintendo switches 8-core ARM Cortex-A78C CPU maxed at 1.7ghz is really punching above its weight against 8-core AMD Zen 2 CPU operating at 3.6 GHz
Specially since Xbox Series S uses an AMD RDNA 2 GPU with 4 TFLOPS of power. The Switch 2 features a custom NVIDIA Ampere GPU (similar to the RTX 30-series) that delivers approximately 3.1 TFLOPS when docked and 1.7 TFLOPS in handheld mode.
Even with the crappier hard drive the nvidia chipset shines thru with the xbox offering 512GB or 1TB NVMe SSD options with very high throughput (2.4 GB/s raw). The Switch 2 comes with 256GB of UFS storage, which is slower than the Xbox's SSD but significantly faster than the original Switch's eMMC
Id say the win is all capcom and their great optimization of the port leaning towards nvidia probably
