Although I am not against ending exclusivity I think Microsoft's choice is wrong because: -having exclusives is the driving force behind selling consoles -you can make and sell exclusives at a loss because they are operating as a marketing tool as well as a game to generate income. Ergo, you can spend more money making them, without expecting to break even in return, thus having the ability to polish them better -if Xbox wants to get out of the console business, then they seriously need to address the elephant in the room: Xbox first party studios are not making great games consintently. They have not made big hitters in years, and even if they manage to release their games in all the platforms, that doesn't change the fact that a very few portion of gamers are gonna play them because they lack in quality.
