@CheezGhostie it really sucks I'm in the same boat. Unfortunately I think I'm going to pony up and buy an Xbox ( a series S though because I still want to say I kind of won by not buying the x ) but if it wasn't for gta 6 and having already bought 4-5 games for Xbox id probably just go back to steam and GeoForce now , I bought battlefield 6 when it first came out and played on GeoForce now . But that's the only game I got on steam. I wished they had a game pass alternative but I mean.. I'm playing the first kingdom come right now which I bought for Xbox , I play NCAA football on game pass, kingdom come 2 is on gamepass. And gta 6 won't be on steam anytime soon . Otherwise I would switch to GeoForce now . Hell even paying for GeoForce now plus the ultimate game pass tier it would still take a year just for the amount to equal a series S smh
@trev666 yeah that's over with if they go through with this , tell your mate to hop onto GeForce now , I mean it sucks to have to pay 20 dollars for GeoForce now and 20 dollars for game pass but that's the only viable option other than ponying up and buying an Xbox . Geoforce now at least offers 100 hours a month cloud gaming for 20 dollars. And I thought that was ridiculous when they announced it at the end of last year. That looks like a freaking deal compared to xcloud now
I have literally skipped this console generation, the last console I bought was a ps4 pro in 2016 and haven't had it since 2019 , I've been doing a lot of mobile gaming the last few years but the experience isn't the same , when I learned about cloud gaming I was super excited, I've bought probably 3-4 Xbox games at 30-70 dollars a piece and get the ultimate plan every month. I game at least 4-5 a day on the weekends and usually an hour or two ,3-4 days through the week. This has screwed me over. Now granted I've realized gta6 won't be playable with cloud gaming and I've pretty much convinced myself to get a console by November but if it wasn't for cloud gaming , I wouldn't have played any games from this generation. I get that its a niche thing but honestly there's a lot of people that can't afford to go throw down 500 dollars for just an Xbox series S, the weakest console out there. And honestly if it wasn't for gta6 I probably wouldn't buy a console and switch to just GeoForce now , I mean even paying 20 dollars a month for that plus 20 dollars a month for ultimate, and I'd still have to do that for a year just to equal the amount it cost solely for the series S. The prices are just ridiculous in all honesty . But that's the world we live in now unfortunately
