Nintendo is just a different beast but when comparing with Sony Xbox is FAR FAR ahead of them when it comes to trying to prep forbthe future and where the industry is going. It seems like Sony is quickly losing their identity and have no idea where to go next. I have a switch, sx, ss, and PS5 for current gen consoles... unfortunately the PS5 is definitely the most boring console of all of them.
As gamers we actually need the big 3 to win. All 3 of them because it gives us more choice and options...Xbox has shown me this. This is why Xbox is now my favorite current and next gen console that I will continue supporting. Idc if an Xbox game goes to sony...so what? I get it day and date on gamepass and if it's a good game I can buy it for atleast 20+% off as a gamepass user..I'll stick with the source console these games are made for..the first party console..whereas PS5 would be the obvious 3rd party console..the most 3rd party console in a single gen I think ive ever seen in my 39 years.
Indiana Jones is superior to all those games. I like death Strandings story but the gameplay gets VERY...VERY repetitive to the point where walking is a massive chore and really takes the fun out of playing. You can only have fun walking the same back and forth back and forrh back and forth routine before the game gets shut off. That's what I did. I put alot of hours into it but never finished it(yet) because I got tired of walking the same routes over and over again...new areas are exciting until they have you Travers it back and forth so many times each area becomes a chore and boring rather quickly.
This is why I'm happy I bought a series x(I also bought the series s for my nephew who lives with me...I bought for me but gave it to him when i got the SX . Anyways thats irrelevant....but my lil bro was so happy. He never had his own game system and the only reason I even bought the SX right after I bought the SS was because my nephew came to live with me ..and all hes ever wanted in gaming was to be able to play with his friends in Roblox with a mic...I definitely have parent protections set up ..but anyways I'm so off topic..). The extra drive space on the series x is really nice. Also, the SS and sx have that expansion port ..but those SSD expansions are certainly expensive...but if you're not impatient you can always find them on a decent deal somewhere. I would definitely love a gaming PC coupled with Xbox gp ultimate and probably Steam because I noticed PC players always seem to recommend steam...I won't give up on gamepass though because Phil Spencer has changed the game for all of us in the Xbox ecosystem for the better. Xbox one gen was sorta crap imo . He had to save the brand and he had to do it in huge ways. I now have the players choice to buy or play..when I buy i support the devs...when I just play my gp fees support the devs. It's a win win for everyone. I also have a PS5 but in my honest OPINION...it has been boring on average. There's a couple cool games for sure but it's not as exciting as the SX...and the SX has third party titles on lock whereas the PS5 is timed. Anyways that doesn't matter because I own both but obviously I can't pick the ps5 version of a game that's on Xbox because Xbox games come with all versions (PC and console .and even Mobile if available) and I get to try it first on go to see if its worth it.

You don't think sony built those studios they own...do you? 😂😂 Like Insomniac etc etc? They didn't. They bought them. They couldn't afford something like activision. Also, it wasn't actiBlizz....xbox created that studio by combining the two. They also created new studios for blizzard and ....***** i forget...whatever .. I'm just happy has the most first party games this gen out of all of them. They even have third party games on lock...Sony has timed third party games. I have a PS5 and sx and It sucks my PS5 is so boring this gen. I really thought it would be good but it's just not ..it's got a couple good first party games but I can't have 2 or so last for 4 or 5 years while u do three months timed third party stuff. It doesn't fund sonys next first party games enough... especially with them having 2 of the biggest gaming flops in history...that's just facts. Anyways. Anyone with an sx and gp ultimate is loving gaming this generation. I'm also very happy death Stranding is on Xbox because ds2 will be on Xbox day one. That was a HUGE exclusive for Xbox. They lost all of square enix and now Kojima....it's so crazy they'd lose Kojima and square...those 2 really really helped make PlayStation what it is today...well . All the food parts. Now that's gone...i mean it's not gone but u wont have to buy a PlayStation anymore to play those games.

I can have multiple games open at once. Obviously playing one at a time but have several on pause. I can turn my Xbox off..come back later to turn it on and play whatever game I had that was paused right where I left off...and switch back and forth with 2 or 3 seconds. It's amazing...it's PC style shyt. (I wish I had a nice gaming PC)

@IOI I wonder why they wouldn't allow it though.... because Nintendo doesn't have a real sub service like gamepass...and sonys is barely even a thing tbh(I have a sx and PS5 . Ps plus premium sorta sucks but gamepass ultimate is AWESOME) ...gamepass also has different tiers. You say "no way in hell Nintendo would allow gp on their system) but if you really think of it all it would do is benefit Nintendo fans and make Xbox some more money. The difference between Nintendo games amd Xbox games is HUGE...so having go on switch wouldn't take away from any Nintendo sales whatsoever...in my opinion it would actually drive switch 2 sales even further....to the point I think if Xbox is really coming out with a handheld it would be a bad idea for them to put GP on switch 2....unless xboxs new handheld also has steam and gp than like I said it actually would be a better business choice for Nintendo and it's console sales ..it would benefit Xbox by getting more GP subs probably at a 70/30 split or so on profits and spreading their studios games out there too even more players to see how good Xbox games really are. They're good this gen.
There are pros and cons to gp being on the switch 2 but like I said I do think it would benefit Nintendo...it would benefit Nintendo fans far more though. If Nintendo had a service of their own like GP id say it would be a bad idea for gp to be on switch but they don't so it's a W for both companies and players everywhere...even Xbox players since that money being made with Nintendo will fund more day and date first and third party exclusives for GP and the Xbox store

The only ones not absolutely hyped for this game are Sony Fanboys. They will absolutely review bomb the game anywhere they can... because they don't care about what the developers went through to get this game out to the public...they only care that it's not available on their PlayStations. U guys should try these Japanese titles. They need the support. They didn't seem like my type either until I played them. I always loved final fantasy even in the 2d days so these are sorta like that but better graphics compared to then. Just...try it u might like it of you're already subbed to gp . That's whats great about gamepass. U can try games for the hell of it and find out u really like something u didn't think u would. Gamepass to me is the best thing in gaming since...I dont even know..it might just be one of if not the best thing to happen to gaming FOR PLAYERS...ever.

I loved xboxs showcases. But it was deft hyped up too much...even on the Xbox side. I thought it was gonna be a "crazy games showing at gamescon that no one has ever seen before" but it was pretty meh.
@OldGamer999 I really hope Xbox can treat their European players A LOT better. That really sucks because I know how important players choice is. You guys definitely deserve Xbox at it's best. They need to work that out. I wonder if its because the CMA over there in Europe? The FTC is attacking xbox in America but I wonder if the CMA is why Xbox is so low in Europe. Heres the thing though, I cannot say you're wrong at all. Ive heard of Xbox being not existent in Europe. They're crazy if they don't focus over there...so many gamers willing to play whatever good games come out. Also, (Im just hoping that Xbox has realized their shortcomings wth how they handled hardware) Xbox does have some (alot) of new leadership ..and these people are talking very highly of Xboxs next gen consoles development. So,I don't think its great that Xbox gave players more choice with the Series S...but i cannot deny anymore that the system is being blamed for a couple major releases delays(not including first party delays might actually be due to ss). It is so odd though that some devs can make the most badass games run on the SS but others can't...i guess that's not the point though.

Awesome. It could have used more marketing much earlier though. But, with it being day one on gamepass Xbox and PC I guess they save money since most of us know about it already. Advertisement costs alot. Still, it could have used more marketing for sure. Im still very excited for it.

It's not a bad game...it just lacks with a nice story mode which would have helped the game ALOT. IT was definitely rushed because at the time Xbox needed an exclusive out ..RedFall was the sacrifice... it sucks because its a very great idea which could have made something great. I'm still hopeful about the team making a RedFall 2.0 but the real true way they wanted it...skip the coop ***** . Make it the way you devs truly wanted too. I wish they'd just read our comments

I have a Series X and I understand that they wanna push the newest versions out to a new audience. People really overreacted. I mean look, as Xbox user we all know pentiment has been out for a long time...alot of people may not realize that there is now a ps5 and switch versions so they wanted to push those upfront so people realize. People need to understand business. The console market is slowing down major due to streaming services and PC is getting more and more popular. Of course there will always be games that won't go multiplat...but like Phil said the ones that make the most sense will go multiPlat. Once a game reaches it's fullest potential on its exclusive console...it's smart to fish it out so the money comes back around for another sequel to day one drop on gamepass. The incentive is the features the Xbox consoles have(which are different than ps5) and day and date first party (and many 3rd party) games being dropped on gamepass. The games sit on gamepass for a long time before they tread out to newer audiences. It makes so much sense once a game slows way tf down. This is why Sony is now starting to copy Xboxs strategy. This is why Jim was fired .. because Sony wasn't looking to the future. They want everything the same and it's not happening that way. The games Xbox dropped for Nintendo and Sony are actually low budget shadow dropped day one gp games that are now for SALE on other platforms. That's the incentive for Xbox. U get to try all the first party games before u buy..Incase a cyberpunk 2077 happens again I'm all for the Xbox model. MLB the show 2 SOLD SIX times better on Xbox even though it's a first party Sony game. Starfield is 3 on top ten highest game earnings of the generation...Sony has absolutely zero games on that list. Sony took home absolutely zero awards at TGAS yet Xbox took home multiple. Xbox is now selling more consoles in Japan than Sony is. The take over has been happening since 2022 when Phil got promoted. Sony was extremely worried about Xbox buying COD since cod funded sonys first party games. I didn't realize just how real that was until sonys CEO mentioned there will be zero first party Sony games till later 2025. Sony is definitely and factually the most 3rd party games company this generation. I'm sure they'll bounce back though. I'm not at all confident they'll ever be able to dominate Xbox again . because Xbox just isn't gonna let that happen. Xbox has been preparing for the future for years now ..Sony want buying into it they thought it was a waste of time. Well, u see the analytics...don't believe the false narrative that gamepass ruins sales...that is the complete opposite. Xbox players have much higher user activity than ps players do. Palworld has far more CONSOLE players playing on their consoles than Sony has ps5 players playing helldivers 2 on console. It's like 85-90% PC players where Palworld is much more even...I'm sure there are more PC players for Palworld aswell but it's not a huge gap like sony- PC with hd2
@somnambulance tell me you haven't played starfield without telling you havent played starfield. I have an SX and quick resume has not ONCE "not worked" with Starfield. It works with literally every game aside for a couple online style ones where quick resume isn't allowed because it's online coop.

I think Microsoft and xbox had a backup plan all along. These are very smart business men & women ...they probably knew beforehand about the FTC and the UKs bullSh!t . I really believe in Phil Spencer and trust he's gonna continue taking Xbox too new heights. It's the devs that need too get their stuff in order and start releasing good quality games for Xbox

Anyone with an sx and gp ultimate is loving gaming this generation. I'm also very happy death Stranding is on Xbox because ds2 will be on Xbox day one. That was a HUGE exclusive for Xbox. They lost all of square enix and now Kojima....it's so crazy they'd lose Kojima and square...those 2 really really helped make PlayStation what it is today...well . All the food parts. Now that's gone...i mean it's not gone but u wont have to buy a PlayStation anymore to play those games.

I can have multiple games open at once. Obviously playing one at a time but have several on pause. I can turn my Xbox off..come back later to turn it on and play whatever game I had that was paused right where I left off...and switch back and forth with 2 or 3 seconds. It's amazing...it's PC style shyt. (I wish I had a nice gaming PC)

There are pros and cons to gp being on the switch 2 but like I said I do think it would benefit Nintendo...it would benefit Nintendo fans far more though. If Nintendo had a service of their own like GP id say it would be a bad idea for gp to be on switch but they don't so it's a W for both companies and players everywhere...even Xbox players since that money being made with Nintendo will fund more day and date first and third party exclusives for GP and the Xbox store

The only ones not absolutely hyped for this game are Sony Fanboys. They will absolutely review bomb the game anywhere they can... because they don't care about what the developers went through to get this game out to the public...they only care that it's not available on their PlayStations. That's their own bad. I have a sx and PS5 but for me the PS5 has been thoroughly disappointing in the most important aspect of being a gamer.. the games! U guys should try these Japanese titles. They need the support. They didn't seem like my type either until I played them. I always loved final fantasy even in the 2d days so these are sorta like that but better graphics compared to then. Just...try it u might like it of you're already subbed to gp . That's whats great about gamepass. U can try games for the hell of it and find out u really like something u didn't think u would. Gamepass to me is the best thing in gaming since...I dont even know..it might just be one of if not the best thing to happen to gaming FOR PLAYERS...ever.

Yea I'm definitely done replying to people who defend big companies all because they like the...brand name? It makes zero sense. I supported Sony PS5 at first but guess what...they're the worst out of Xbox and Nintendo. They're 3rd in everything that is good with gaming. Actually they're 4th because pc offers the most. I have to many bills for a PC right now but PC players are probably eating the best with gp ultimate...steam..epic...u name it they have players choice. Sony players have the least player choice. Nintendo atleast has done the same thing since their inception pretty much and their games are better than sonys so yea...sonys absolutely in last place in what matters most this gen--games. Heres the thing though, I cannot say you're wrong at all. Ive heard of Xbox being not existent in Europe. They're crazy if they don't focus over there...so many gamers willing to play whatever good games come out. Also, (Im just hoping that Xbox has realized their shortcomings wth how they handled hardware) Xbox does have some (alot) of new leadership ..and these people are talking very highly of Xboxs next gen consoles development. So,I don't think its great that Xbox gave players more choice with the Series S...but i cannot deny anymore that the system is being blamed for a couple major releases delays(not including first party delays might actually be due to ss). It is so odd though that some devs can make the most badass games run on the SS but others can't...i guess that's not the point though.
Maybe I was a bit harsh in my first comment...but I just feel like Sony...who is normally king at putting out story driven games with good gameplay especially last gen are so low in output this gen. It's not like Sony to be so quiet this gen (for alot of it so far).
Id never in a million years would want Sony out ...us as gamers have 3 console choices...that's it...so I do hope for all 3 to thrive so we get asany players choices as possible.
Also, astrobot looks AWESOME. I'm the type of gamer who will absolutely switch up who's my favorite depending on who I feel Iike more in the current generation. The SX absolutely is the better console with the better games over the PS5 this generation. I don't see a world where sony is gonna be catching up . They will let ps5 only players pay FULL price plus tax for games(only a few) that weve had access to already forever. Also, the games so far have not been big budget. They're in the very last place in profits which means even lower output of first party titles. It would definitely be cool if they put some cod games on gamepass...but it's not like they have to day one on all the new ones...they could make a tier above gpass ultimate and have full access to all cod games and others for a bigger price increase...like a Gamepass premium...one above ultimate...idk ... whether Xbox puts cod on gpass or not I'll still support the devs that Xbox has under their umbrella. It's not a bad game...it just lacks with a nice story mode which would have helped the game ALOT. IT was definitely rushed because at the time Xbox needed an exclusive out ..RedFall was the sacrifice... it sucks because its a very great idea which could have made something great. I have a Series X and I understand that they wanna push the newest versions out to a new audience. People really overreacted. I mean look, as Xbox user we all know pentiment has been out for a long time...alot of people may not realize that there is now a ps5 and switch versions so they wanted to push those upfront so people realize. People need to understand business. The console market is slowing down major due to streaming services and PC is getting more and more popular. Of course there will always be games that won't go multiplat...but like Phil said the ones that make the most sense will go multiPlat. Once a game reaches it's fullest potential on its exclusive console...it's smart to fish it out so the money comes back around for another sequel to day one drop on gamepass. The incentive is the features the Xbox consoles have(which are different than ps5) and day and date first party (and many 3rd party) games being dropped on gamepass. The games sit on gamepass for a long time before they tread out to newer audiences. It makes so much sense once a game slows way tf down. This is why Sony is now starting to copy Xboxs strategy. This is why Jim was fired .. because Sony wasn't looking to the future. They want everything the same and it's not happening that way. The games Xbox dropped for Nintendo and Sony are actually low budget shadow dropped day one gp games that are now for SALE on other platforms. That's the incentive for Xbox. U get to try all the first party games before u buy..Incase a cyberpunk 2077 happens again I'm all for the Xbox model. MLB the show 2 SOLD SIX times better on Xbox even though it's a first party Sony game. Starfield is 3 on top ten highest game earnings of the generation...Sony has absolutely zero games on that list. Sony took home absolutely zero awards at TGAS yet Xbox took home multiple. Xbox is now selling more consoles in Japan than Sony is. The take over has been happening since 2022 when Phil got promoted. Sony was extremely worried about Xbox buying COD since cod funded sonys first party games. I didn't realize just how real that was until sonys CEO mentioned there will be zero first party Sony games till later 2025. Sony is definitely and factually the most 3rd party games company this generation. I'm sure they'll bounce back though. I'm not at all confident they'll ever be able to dominate Xbox again . because Xbox just isn't gonna let that happen. Xbox has been preparing for the future for years now ..Sony want buying into it they thought it was a waste of time. Well, u see the analytics...don't believe the false narrative that gamepass ruins sales...that is the complete opposite. Xbox players have much higher user activity than ps players do. Palworld has far more CONSOLE players playing on their consoles than Sony has ps5 players playing helldivers 2 on console. It's like 85-90% PC players where Palworld is much more even...I'm sure there are more PC players for Palworld aswell but it's not a huge gap like sony- PC with hd2

@somnambulance tell me you haven't played starfield without telling you havent played starfield. I have an SX and quick resume has not ONCE "not worked" with Starfield. It works with literally every game aside for a couple online style ones where quick resume isn't allowed because it's online coop.
