Why? Why put this game on Xbox when "Everything is an Xbox"? Just play it on PC or PlayStation, same place where you can also play every other Xbox game. Lol Microsoft has made themselves obsolete now and told us all to stop buying Xboxs. Why would Capcom want to waste resources on that type of a toxic platform!?

If i would have known what they were planning to do, i would never have supported it.

To do what? Make sure the next big "Xbox" games run better on Playstation or to stream without a console on my TV? Xbox is going to go the way of SEGA... difference is that people have SEGA games to play. My Xbox has nothing exclusive that I can't just play somewhere else.

@InterceptorAlpha true that! I'm still transitioning to PC through my Steam Deck lol, but I plan to go full PC in the near future.

@Rog-X Steam Deck is definitely underpowered, however it has the best battery in the business so far and is the only handheld officially supported with updates specifiaclly made for it to run games better through Steam.

Except my PS5 is also an Xbox, so is my Samsung refrigerator and washing machine now so who cares what "Xbox" does? Wait, hold on, my Hamilton Beach toaster just got an update and I'm playing Gears 5 on it now. Xbox is dead... All you need is a PS5 and a Steamdeck now anyways, oh and a Switch for Zelda and Mario stuff.

That's what they're taking away from this? Sad... Especially when almost no one in access media claimed lack of PS5 support was the issue. Pretty sure the issue was no one wanting a bombastic walking simulator that cost too much to make and took to long to develop. Especially when most critics claimed this sequel was worse than it's predecessor on a audible and gameplay level.

By not having Xbox fans. A subscription service to yet another streaming service is not what it means to be an Xbox fan. They did it to themselves, Xbox is dead. Long live Xbox!

Well, here we are... I've been staring at my Series X half this year, waiting for it to do something for me. Waiting for Microsoft to give me a reason to turn it on instead of my PS5. This however was the push I needed to make the call to get rid of it. If "Everything is an Xbox" but Xbox has no exclusives... then nothing is an Xbox becuase Xbox no longer exists. I'll just play everything on my Playstation systems for every gen going forewards, and also where there is an actual community that will still exist for the foreseeable future. This is sad... so so sad. I wish that ABK deal never went through.

Idk... as a huge Borderlands fan, this trailer had me bored and to be honest everything looks ripped right out of the past games with nothing new. The new playable characters look uninspired and boring. Lots of pointless edgyness and everything just felt very mid. I'll keep my eye on it but I'm not really excited for it. Willing to bet Randy Pitchford and his shady ass usb drive has this game being designed straight up for the "MoDeRn AuDiEnCe"...

Why? So they can have a handheld that they don't exclusively support because they will put all their own games on Sonys new handheld or the Steamdeck anyway? It could be goldplated, I won't buy it. Xbox has burnt me 2 gens in a row now. I'm out.

@Balaam_ you probably have a better chance of getting hit by lighting and winning the lottery than Xbox having good exclusives on physical discs. They're the ones that want the digital future most of all. They've been fighting us for our digital rights for years. Now that they've seen it works, everyone else is following suit. We're a dying breed my guy.

@ZYDIO fair point, however im not sure xbox will even exist in 2 years anymore... especially when Microsoft is so drunk, that they claim "Everything is an Xbox"... even my toaster. Idk... sounds dumb as hell to me and I have no faith in that future.

@OldGamer999 yeah, I have my PS5 and bought a Steam Deck. I really have absolutely no reason to keep my Xbox anymore other than not wanting to let go of all that history and my back compat backlog.

What would I like to see? How about some good games, thay Sony wont get, that makes them sweat a little bit. I'm running out of reasons to even keep my Series X...

@Lup honestly the only reason it got so much praise was due to Hideo Kojima's name being attached. You take that exact same game and put a different dev teams name on the box and it's a 6/10 all day, if not lower. And that's coming from someone who's a fan on the game.

@abe_hikura This, this right here is my same concern as well. All this new ad campaign is going to accomplish is confusing consumers who aren't in the know, which is the majority of xbox users. It's pointless and is indeed a death spiral. Without a reason to buy an Xbox, people will abandon the platform altogether soon enough.

Hopefully they can fix Joanna Dark. She's not masculine looking enough yet. Can't wait to see how to adapt this title for the "Modern Audience". I need more inclusion!

Bingo, I'm still kinda of waiting on Microsoft to step up the game and push the Series X to its limits as is.

Stoked!! Bought this when it came out but the resolution and controls kept me away hoping for an update. Here we are and I can't wait! I'm betting they're going to announce Vol. 2 and then drop this update soon!

Sony's not even at their best this gen. They're just running on the coat tails of past successes. Microsoft just can't seem to figure out how to run a business in this industry and they keep tripping over themselves.

This should have been the easiest generation for Xbox to come out on top. Yet here we are, 4 years into the gen and there hasn't been a single exclusive worth while to get anyone to switch sides.

I remember getting a used one from Gamestop back in the day and then going to BestBuy to pick up copies of Halo and KotOR. I couldn't afford a new Xbox out of the box but I was damned if I wasn't going to experience that glorious scent of a freshly opened game and a virgin manual.

Isn't the Series X technically underclocked? I mean... aren't there some features the system isn't taking full advantage of? I believe I've heard people in the industry claim it, I think Velocity Architechture was one of those things.

I feel like Microsoft has had an issue with making a lot of bad calls over the years. However, choosing to NOT have a "Pro Model" this gen was a really well thought out decision.
