I only started playing it this afternoon/evening and I'm enjoying my time with it. The controls took a little bit of getting used to but nothing that really bothered me per say. Verses mode was fun and I look forward to perhaps more maps once the actual game releases. But oh man is it shotgun season in verses mode like holy geez. I suppose that'll force me to get better at dodging or attempting to dodge lol as I try and have shotgun duels with folks. In the few games I did both competitively and non, I found myself having fun. For me though the real fun was in Horde/Siege mode and I know this is going to be a hot topic or debate amongst gamers. I def get Helldiver vibes from it but in the matches that I played, comms were great and my teammates and I had a blast fighting wave after wave and taking down big bad baddies. I can see that this won't be for everyone and I can appreciate them trying something different though I agree with a lot of others, it would be great if "classic" horde mode made an appearance or was later added. That said, will this be a game I play for years after it's release? That's still to be determined but so far I'm having fun so I guess we'll see. Again if you enjoy it, cool and if you don't that's fine too. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and likes/dislikes. Have a great weekend y'all!
I haven't been this excited for a game in god knows how long. I've been listening to Mad World all week this week. I'm ready to have all the feels again.
I like the momentum that XBOX has been building lately, even despite the whole "logo" snaffu that's cropped up. I do think that some form of "exclusivity" needs to return but I'm just excited at seeing all the great games coming to XBOX soon that I'll get to enjoy.
Honestly I was waiting for something like this to crop up and I'm glad I waited and didn't get a first gen ROG Ally X. I had given it some thought but now I can just get this new one. While I'm sure it's going to be pricey, I feel I'll def get my money's worth.
Exclusives are vital for success IMO. Yes it's nice to have games available for everyone on multiple consoles or systems but if you wanna increase brand awareness, or further drive hardware sales, you need to have a few exclusives.
I remember when this first got announced/shown and it peaked my interest right away. Glad to see it's being well received. Can't wait to dabble into it myself!
I played the demo (which is available currently if you want to try the game for yourself) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Looking forward to the full game and glad to see it's being well received.
As a long time Xbox fan, I'm actually happy to see them gaining some traction and moving things in a positive direction. Let's not kid ourselves, Xbox has been in a steady decline over the years, both on a hardware sale perspective and just overall as a whole. I'll give credit where it's due though, Asha has made some solid strides and I'm very eager to see how things will progress moving forward.

So many great games to keep me busy all summer long. Of course the big one for me is Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. So stoked!
