@GADG3Tx87 Right and ABK want to appeal too. So they could just simply favour making games for Xbox, especially if Microsoft make it financially somehow financially. That maybe tricky of course without the support of a takeover and essentially becoming a studio.
Either way Xbox will go press on and won’t hurt them long term I think. I can understand them appealing, seemingly so close to the finish line. Bethesda deal was significant anyway.
