Re: Project Spark Set to Close

EternalDragonX

This was a really bad game, I played it simply because there was nothing else at the time but when we started getting some pretty good games, Project Spark suffered from terrible game design and performance. I don't mind when this stuff happens to crappy games and the people who make them. If I did a crappy job wiring houses then I would be let go as well.

Re: Editor's Opinion: The Search for Honest Game Reviews

EternalDragonX

@tylertreese actually yeah I would like them to leave that aside, and give me a fact sheet. As a consumer I want to know if a game has quality to it and that can't be argued regardless and will make scores generally stick to a certain number depending on that. Liking the story of a game is very subjective, so I'd rather they leave that off the score and let me decide myself.

Great article and read for my mornimg coffee sit down I agree with some of what you say but couldn't dissagree more in others. When reviewing a game you should keep personal opinions aside and review the game quality itself.
Let me explain, I personally hate the Dark Souls series and obviously didn't like Bloodborne as well. However I realize that they are indeed great games regardless of my taste. Reviewing those games i would rate them between an 8.5 and 9.5. Even though i personally didn't enjoy them. And games like The Order 1886 which i absolutely loved personally but saw it's shortcomings in abundance. Thus lowering the score.
My two cents is rate the game as a product and how well it is put together even if the taste doesn't suite yours.

Re: Quantum Break Scores Surprise Japanese Chart Success

EternalDragonX

@KelticDevil Blue dragon sold 220k in japan. Also The week before Blue Dragon came out only 4,053 Xbox 360s were sold in Japan. After Blue Dragon’s release 35,343 were sold so you tell me again how that wouldnt help in a country that is selling < 200 consoles a week again?T hat may not seem like much but for japan and on an xbox in japan that is quite a feat. Also I enjoyed the game, along with Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, Enchanted Arms, Star Ocean 4,.

Re: Quantum Break Scores Surprise Japanese Chart Success

They should've had a few JRPG's like they did with the 360. When Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon Were released the 360 sold thousands of consoles a couple weeks in a row instead of the normal hundreds. They abandoned the japan market when they didn't push any jrpgs. Also forced my hand into buying a ps4.

Re: Review: DiRT Rally (Xbox One)

EternalDragonX

Something that drives be bananas about almost every rally game. I like to play games in chase cam but I swear every rally game but Rallisport Challenge for the original xbox (my fav racer ever) has an issue with the camera. Every time I turn the car the camera turns with the car making the game feel like its on a swivel and gives me a major head ache. Note to all Rally dev's Car first then camera. Seems silly and minute but this is actually a deal breaker for e and wouldnt play this game even if it was a 10/10 and given free on gwg.

Love this new article setup, keep it up guys. As for the games I played Ocean Horn on my Surface. Pretty game, nice to see it come to consoles. Shift Work looks quite interesting, I really hope we start to see some kinect games soon but i fear it's days are behind it, real shame.

This game sealed ititit's fate for me when I saw tons of dlc available before release....it's an unknown new IP from a unknown indie dev. Whoever thought that was a good idea should be tared and feathered and walk a plank.
