Given that the ROG Ally/X is a look at the future of Microsoft's direction with gaming and the Xbox brand as a whole you'd think they'd make sure stock was consistently available everywhere.
The fact that it's there is enough. I like certain games from certain series to be a certain way and if a follow-on deviates from that path in a way that sours the experience then I won't buy it.
I freely admit I can be very particular.
As soon as I discovered MP4 has other characters wittering into your ear for a lot of the time I was instantly put off. The original Metroid Prime had a wonderful sense of solitude, adding to the feeling of searching through the remnants of a forgotten civilisation. In my view it was always going to be a hard act to follow. I'm happy to pass on MP4 as the original has bags of replay value (currently on my 5th time, 2nd time with the Switch remaster).
It's hugely improved on since launch. Jump in, what have you to lose as you already have it in your library? At least then you'll know for certain if it's for you or not.
After the excellent Pillars of Eternity and Deadfire, Avowed really had a "my first RPG" vibe about it.
It wasn't a terrible game, but it wasn't particularly great either, certainly when put up against more accomplished RPGs such as Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and Baldur's Gate 3.
That being said, Avowed was certainly better than the travesty that was DA: Veilguard.
"Series X is technically the best console of the generation although the more recent (and more expensive) PS5 Pro of course has a more modern GPU, but still worse CPU like PS5."
The Pro continues to outperform the Series X more often than not. Yes the Pro costs more and yes the GPU is doing most the heavy lifting, but it's still the most capable console currently on the market. A few duds aside DFs benchmarking, along with others, has shown this time and again.
As predominantly a PC gamer I don't own either, or have the need to, however with component costs continuing to soar the next generation is looking to be very expensive for everyone, regardless of where you plant your flag. Willy waving about end costs to the consumer will be rendered redundant.
All that said I don't see how the PS5 Pro and Series X is in any way relevant to this particular benchmark, so why bring them up?
Been playing Final Fantasy VII (original) on my Switch. Project Gotham Racing 4 and Halo CE Anniversary on the 360. Rage 2 and Saints Row 4 on the PS4. And on PC Forspoken and Resident Evil 4 Remake.
While I enjoyed RDR2 I still prefer RDR overall. By comparison it was a far more straightforward affair whereas RDR2 gets weighed down by its own sense of grandeur.

Not these days, no.

Re: Poll: What Are Your First Impressions Of Routine On Xbox Game Pass?
Looks pretty "routine".
(Joke. Not played it. I don't subscribe to Game Pass)

More's the pity...

It's often cheap on Steam, don't know about consoles.

These lists are often meaningless. You could probably find half dozen more such lists and they'd all be different.
I didn't even know Rolling Stone covered video games. 🤷

While I've moved on from FO76 I played it solo. It's a perfectly fine experience.

A great game. Well worth picking up and Nightdive rarely drop the ball.
