Don’t blame them. No one can say with great confidence that this Mass Effect was going to be good and Bioware haven’t made any good games after 2012. I highly doubt we’re missing out on much.

I couldn’t care less. Just make some good games. If I like the games I don’t care who makes them. I’m not interested in being a brand shill.

This game had a great concept on paper but awful in execution. The “play anyone” mechanic from what I remember made for a messy and predictable story and you’ll end up playing as the same 1 or 2 characters for most of it anyway. Why be a nurse or taxi driver when you can be a hitman and have all these guns and abilities. I played it in 2020/2021 and the only thing that’s stuck with me about the game is how awful some of the voice acting and dialogue is with its forced attempts to sound British. It’s about as mediocre as you can get.

Of the 3 games to me 2 is the only one that’s passable so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see the series killed off.

Sooner or later you’ll have to sit through ads to use your toothbrush, open your fridge and wipe your ass.

Good exclusives. I’ve been mostly with Sony since 2013 and I’m deep in their ecosystem and my Xbox game library is small. I’m not interested in anything else.

I barely use my Xbox and haven’t touched it for months so I’d just use my PS5 and wait and see how the next generation goes.

@Tasuki I agree with your skepticism about Asha and the boot licking some people do on here is cringeworthy but this isn’t on her. These pathetically over coddling laws are set by the governments which Xbox as well as Sony and Nintendo must adhere to when operating in those countries. Nothing to do with Asha at all.

These dystopian laws that use the convenient smokescreen of “think of the children” are disgusting. These things should be the responsibility of the parents, not the government or anyone else. Every electronic device these days has parental controls and if the parents don’t use them that should be on them and them alone. It’s disgusting how some of them can’t be bothered to do parenting and entertainment sources be used as scapegoats as has happened for decades, then we get laws like this where we all have to pay the price by giving billion dollar companies our most private and sensitive information which has been breached countless times before and will happen again.

The way it’s going just get rid of the parents and have a government official stationed to supervise their child 24/7 instead.

I also don’t see the hype for it. It’s the same archaic formula they’ve used since 2001 with a prettier coat of paint.

Wasn’t even 3 years ago I bought my Xbox for around $470 in USD and this isn’t too far from almost double that! So crazy.

2K Battlegrounds is a total insult of a game. I’m amazed it lasted this long.

Looking forward to it, I’ve missed playing Horde. Some have tried to replicate it but none do it like Gears.

Man, seeing that Gears of War 2 main menu and hearing that music again brings back memories.
