Plenty of games are locked at 30fps, and that’s just not acceptable when they said otherwise. At this point, it’s pretty clear you can’t take anything they say at face value.

The Series S is truly a disappointment. It was promised to do everything the Series X could, just at a lower resolution. But time and time again, we only get 30 FPS modes. It’s a disaster for developers and a burden to consider, as it holds back both the Series X and PS5 when games have to accommodate the Series S. Even if you don't like pro consoles, for backwards compatible it's always better to have a pro console. If you play PS5 games on the PS6, it will run those games better because it's using the PS5 pro version. For me personally the pro console is a huge plus. The PS6 is probably coming end of 2028. 8 year cycle. Pretty long but I like that because devs these days have so much work on games. It's a lot complexer then it used to be. So you can't come out with a total new gen of consoles to fast. So the pro is really nice for hardcore fans,...
Lol, they're working to get the game on Xbox platforms, but it's not series s fault... Lmao, why still working to get it to work properly on the console then? Yeah maybe Sony did say release it on PS5 then, if it's stable, but why should everyone have to wait on the series version? It's not like Sony really made a deal here, otherwise we would have seen it in marketing deals. But whatever, probably the truth is somewhere in the middle and they probably said to Sony, we won't delay the PS5 version. Remember, BG3 was the same story and other devs have given there opinion on the series s as well. It's not like Sony paid these devs to tell these things...
